Bustamante jump shot.

So, there goes the arrow about Philippinos can't jump..just not long ago..

for some reason I can full cue jump no problem and making balls.. but that little short cue I cant control for chit. It's like I cant get any power into it but the full cue is easy.

I can full ball jump 2 inches away with a full cue too... I dunno. I've seen all the videos and worked on the stance and choking up on the cue to get a full stroke with the short cue but nope... Doesnt work as well for me.

Where ever their playing the fans know when to clap and when to keep quiet. They know the good shots and the basic shots. Watch this video WPBA. Johnnyt

Loose grip, squirt the ball off the table, that's the physics behind jumping. I know there're people who can jump full cue. But it's not easy, you must be specially gifted in this area. I've only managed to jump with my 16oz snooker cue, but play cue I jump like sheet.

It all depends on individuals. There're people who take a long time and there're people who mastered it in just minutes. I believe one can still get it through practice.

Well I can jump with the short one but it just doesnt have the control i want. With a full cue I can control the english and everything. I guess it's a good thing since this pos APA doesnt allow short jump cues.. I have np since I can grab the full one and go to town.

People still get pissed when I use it. It's fun to watch them just kick at balls when i push out to a jump shot and they cant jump.. but they know I can so they kick at it and try :D

edit: Still trying to use the shorty with control though.. just spins all over the place whichtells me my short stroke isnt good enough yet.

That's in Cardilff. Great Britain.

It also great to see action shots of the breaker...for example the ants-eye view gives you a real sense of the players break technique.

This has been a real weakness for accu-stats. I buy their videos as much for educational value as anything and they don't respect the break. All to often, they zoom in on the extents of the table during the break and you can not even see the breaker at all...well maybe his bridge hand.

Here are examples of their instant replays which occur while the player walks back to the chair to retrieve his playing cue.

I'm one of the people who said that. :p

It's a new thing to the Filipino players. Most Filipino players will not do it because cue-ball control is the central focus of most classical-Filipino players.

Filipino players are small. Jumping the cueball is more difficult for small players. Look at Bustamates' jump, he use a sideway swing.

Get a Stealth. They're a bit longer, and very accurate.
