Can someone suggest a source for bone/antler stock for butt cap (white) (approx 1.5 diam x 3 to 4 inch long)?


For local cue builder first attempt at this material.

If you are looking for Bone or Antler go to your Taxidermest Shop. Most of them have quanities of this material on hand and it is not very expensive depending on what you buy. Elk and Dear antler is pretty cheap in my area and all the shops have it, howver, some of the exotic horns will cost a little more.

My advice is to stay away from using the first two, unless jail time and/or fines appeal to you. Pre ban African Elephant tusk is a great choice though.
