Butterfly Cues

Not the greatest pictures, but this is my player, Schrager conversion of an old Brunswick BBC butterfly cue. A handle was added to the cue, ivory 3/8x10 joint with buckhorn ferules. Great balance and wonderful shafts

Here's one from Steve Klein. Tulip wood for the forearm and Ebony for the butt. I got it from Steve at the Expo this year.

Steve, did you have that cue in the 2nd photo at the Expo? I just noticed, it's your avatar. Can we see what the whole cue looks like, it looks really sharp.

Well I just thought I would put in my two cents on the subject of Butterfly Cues, as there is this guy apparently in Arizona who does some and his web-site would be a great resource for ideas, or inspiration

Yes it could be called imitation, but imitation is the highest form of flattery.

I must disagree with an early post. Barrenbrugge doesn't make a decent cue, he makes a great cue. Only thing better than his butterfly's is his ring work. Truely innovative and unique to him.
Jeffery, here is the other half of Bubbles! It was up at the ACA show booth during the show.

I was being sarcastic about Dave. His ringwork is incredible and he's a Heck of a guy. I consider him a friend and I 've got a pretty short list.
