Buyer Problem...need advice please

I recently purchased a cue from an AZer. Well, to say the least it was a bumpy ride. They did not ship for a week and a half with no communication. Then they said they would overnight the cue, and again, that did not happen. They shipped it 3-day.

When I received the cue, the shaft is warped! Now, I have PM'd this guy 4 times with no replies. At what point do I leave negative iTrader? He has a 1 rating at present, but will not respond to any of my PM's.

While we were negotiating, he always responded timely, but now...nothing.

Looking for advice from some more experienced AZers out there.

I've sold on eBay for years and have a 970+ feedback with 100% there. Out of those almost 1000 transactions, I've encountered two issues with not receiving what was described in the auction.

I'm hoping this is out of the ordinary here on AZ and appreciate your comments. Please PM if you don't want to post on the forum.

Ihave purchased a few cues here and have all been okay. One was delayed but that is because it was coming from another country and got caught up in customs. I try using people with a lot of iTrader unless it is something that really pops out at me. All in all, this is a good place to buy though.
 
Give him a few days. maybe he is out of town or working. has he posted since you received the cue? If he doesn't reply then you might want to not only give him neg. i trader but call him out on the forum by name.JMHO
 
On the good side, yes, this is out of the ordinary for AZ.
There are a few bad transaction but for the most part, 99% are good.

If you ended up with a warped shaft and he neglected to mention it to you, then you should be entitled to return the cue.

To be fair, give him some time to respond to you as he may be busy.
If he has been logged in on AZ and not responding to your PMs, then if you have no other recourse, call him out publicly.

AZ sales rep is not worth losing over a cue, and the rest of the AZ buying community like to have a heads up on the bad actors.

I would check to see if he's logged on, if he is PM him, if no response then it's time to move forward. The guy may also be out of town, there's afair bit of stuff going on at the moment all over, but again if you are out of town doesn't mean you can't log on!
 
give until the end of week , then post who it is on here and someone might know them and relay a message or other. They could be out of town.............for the most , everyone here is stand up people.........:)
 
I feel for ya, it's a horrible feeling when something like this happens. Hopefully you paid via paypal or escrow? As soon as you leave negative Itrader start a claim via paypal or escrow
 
Hi neighbor(well sort of)
from looking at your cue collection in your signature Im sure you know this but just incase::
first make sure its warped...could be just a joint face problem or a taper roll
second if its warped dont wait too long(week at most) to out the person you purchased it from if they tend to keep NOT communicating
 
I think you have been had! No communication is a real signiture with these guys unless they are on vacation or really sick in the hospital. JMO
 
If you were told you were buying a cue that was straight, out the guy now. Everyone is so touchy feely about working things out on here and to afraid to drop the bomb when its needed. So what if he refunds your money or replaces the shaft - the fact is he sold you a cue that was not as advertised. Period....
