Buying Diamonds at tournament's

I am not sure you get it why spend 100K on something you do not need?

When you have Great Well Maintained Gold Crowns?

Stupid, and if 100k is no big deal, why not send me $20,000 mad money?

First off, you don't know shit about pool tables, my buddy Craig bought several of them for $500 each, I was going to buy a few from him until I saw what the bottom of the rails looked like in the pictures he showed me, at which time I passed on the deal, worn out, in need of complete rebuilds.

Why would anyone send you any money, you're so cheap you're probably sitting on Millions, that's how you people are, to cheap to spend, but not to cheap to turn away anyone else's money. You're NOT the only one paying the dues are you?

Well I never said I was table expert. I do not care about much, level, good cloth, good rails, and I am happy. Liked old gold crowns, personal choice.

I do know some of old table were sold for 250 bucks.

Diamonds are in vogue, why who the hell knows. Great market campaign???

Got to have same table all the big tournaments are played on. I am 100% sure if some Pool Room with Gold Crowns put on some $1,000,000.00. All the top players in world would boycott for Diamond, or we are not attending.🧐

You said 100k is nothing, so I said you could send me 20k, that was 1/5th of nothing per you mouth.

Yes I am frugal, watch my money because I worked for it.

You're so full of shit, if everyone was like you, there wouldn't be any businesses left doing business building pool tables, cars, trucks, nothing, because everything everyone owns would be old and worn out. Well, contrary to your beliefs, management made the decision to replace the OLD GC's with Diamonds, and didn't ask you for your permission or advice because the OTHER majority of the people who live there decided they wanted new pool tables, so the decision was made, paid for, and action was taken. You can like it or not, you can live there, or move, but in living there, you're going to keep PAYING your monthly dues, and like it, or you're going to move, won't matter to anyone else living there. You can enjoy playing on the Diamonds, or boycott playing on them, no one living there cares! Accept the fact that everyone living there isn't as cheap as YOU are, and accept the fact that you DON'T count in the grand scheme of things, but also accept the that that your OPINION may NOT reflect that of others!!

I dont know about that. I haven't seen a Snooker table I years.
Yeah - I'm also in NB. In Moncton there are 0 snooker tables for the public to play on. In the province there might be a few.

Also never saw a 7' around here. First time I ever saw one was at the BCA in Vegas. Thought they were kid's tables :)

When the Dooleys in Sussex first opened it had a 12ft snooker table but it was only there for a couple of years and I don't know where it went. There's not even a pool hall left in Sussex. The Legion has 4 8ft Valleys, 1 bar has 1 or 2 Dufferin 8fts and another bar I believe has 1 8ft Valley.

Only for you, how many do you want? Yep, Diamond is going to have a covid sale, every table will be delivered by persons KNOWN to have covid19 at the time YOU receive delivery, place your order now!!!

Moronic reply.👎. I ask question, and Glenn flips.❓

Even misquoting me, nice try. Your a great ambassador Diamond billiards, and sales killer.

Like I said what’s all the hype about, apparently you do not know.

My take is Diamond are pretty, like Ferrari, but who want to pay threw nose for tune up. To drive head turner.

Really? Maybe it has to do with the fact they're well built, or maybe because they have such a high resale value, I don't know, why don't you ask that question to those willing to wait 8 months to get one, or maybe, unlike you, they can see the VALUE in buying a Diamond pool table, vs buying a worn out, old GC, because they care about playing pool, NOT just banging balls around because they don't have anything better to do with their time!

I love GCs, but despite how great they were/are, they dont play nearly as good as a Diamond Blue imo.
The money your local spot spent on those Diamond blues is money well spent & a upgrade from GCs ,.
You can tweak a gc and have them playing great, but the new standard is definitely diamond blue. Going from gc to diamond is an adjustment, but what I found is diamond blue plays so much smoother & rolls truer , when compared to gc.
Thats not saying GCs arent still great , they are, but diamond blues playing surface plays better imo.
Things change , sometimes you gotta roll with the tide.

You're the only one I've seen say something like that. Isn't the general consensus around here that Diamonds are wanted for their playability and easy set up? Most people that I've seen comment in the past prefer the look of the GC, but want a table that plays perfect like the Diamond.

In the 16+ years Coco has been on AZB, and in the 38,000+ posts he's made, he's never had anything good to say about Diamond tables, even to the point of turning a blind eye to everything Diamond has accomplished during his 16+ years posting here, because he's stuck on old GC's as being the best there is, and should never be replaced no matter what!

But one things for sure about old people, they won't be complaining much longer, as time is not on their side! And I say that being old too!!!!

If the road is my home, then explain why I haven't traveled anywhere since 2014? 8 years now!

And I LIVE in my home, have been since 2015!

Still think you know me, guess again!!
Your home has wheels under it.

Like I said what is Big Deal? I just don’t see it.

Remember when Alexander's got Diamond Bar Boxes, so I went down, checked out, said prettier then Valley or Dyno-brand.

Maybe I am the only person who says it how I see it.

Other think same but don’t want the drama of being chastised.

This Play is possible on most quality tables if they are flat, roll straight, have good equal rails, and good cloth.

I don't think you're being chastised.
Your views just seem, well, superficial.

Its not about the looks of a table, that is really irrelevant.
It is the build quality, reliability and consistency that matters.

Diamond raised the bar, I am an old Brunswick fanbois..
They are just the best tables on the market, period.
