Cajun Pawn Stars

I'm nationaly ranked too  So what?? Once he makes the Hustlers HOF then he can say he is the shite.

More than likely an league ranking. However, Johnny's nephew Chad (Jimmie's late son) was my best friend and he was a strong C to weak B player left and right handed. If he were alive, I would think he would give Johnny the 7 out in 9-ball. Chad also collected cues and was a member on this forum. He died in a plane crash Oct. 22 2006.

That is really interesting. Thanks for the link.

Pangit, gotta give credit where credit is due: Good thread! :)

Ooooops, I thought the title read "Cajun Prawn Stars". It was just a piece of dust on my screen. Now that would have been interesting.

Thanks for the nice words about Chad

Cuenut, thanks for the nice words about my nephew, Chad. He was a very good guy and pool player. He loved to show off and have fun on a table. At one time we traveled all over playing pool. In fact, he originally picked up the game from me. His brother Jason also played for a long time and just give it up. He was pretty good too. As for the Cajun Pawn Stars thread posters, and to correct some misinformation, I never talk about being nationally ranked. If you read the bio on history you will find it was written by the history channel/production company using easy to find information on the net. They probably picked it up from the 2007/2008 and 2010 nationals tournaments which I played in. As for the sanctioned leagues, you are correct. I have participated in most of the major national leagues through the years. BCA, APA, and ACS to name a few. However, never knew what a 4 felt like always had to play as a 6/7 on APA style rankings and 9/10 on BCA style rankings. As for the comparison between Chad and I, if we had gambled Id have loved him to give me the 7 out. We actually played about even (depending on day and game). Chad was more of a 9 ball player and I was more 8 ball, even though we played both pretty well. Anyway, again thanks for the kind words about Chad and thanks for the interest in the show. We appreciate it.

Thank you for taking the time to post on this pool forum. It is *the* largest pocket billiards website on the Internet.

The media puts their spin on promoting people, and that's fine. We in the pool world appreciate players of all caliber, especially in the United States. It's the league players, social shooters, and recreational players who shine the brightest here. Don't sweat the knockers on this forum. There's more here who appreciate you taking the time to write on this forum, believe me!

Please come back and post again. If you ever get a cool pool cue or anything pool-related coming into your shop, let us know. As you might imagine, we love that kind of stuff.

If time allows, you should check out some of the magnificent pool rooms in Louisiana. Lately, there's been some great action matches, which might be entertaining, so much so to lure you back into the game.

Buffalo Billiards is one place that seems to be rocking and rolling, but I imagine you now get recognized everywhere you go, which can sometimes be a bummer when you just want to sit back and enjoy living, without all the hoopla of autograph signing, picture taking, et cetera.

Thanks again for posting. It makes this pool forum fun to read.

Y'all do get some interesting stuff. I especially like the Civil War items.
