Spent the weekend re-rubbering my 6x12 Riley. Decided to go with a slightly tighter pocket opening without the undercut.
They are keeping me honest now :D

might as well have made it a 3C Billiard table. And 6'x12'? That ain't no
table . That's an effing soccer field!!! :yikes:

A soccer field? When you can land a small airplane on one, its a landing strip.
I can't see the other end of a 6X12 any more.
I think I need pool glasses.

WOW !!!

Regular pockets are gonna look like goal posts now !!!!

Guys:

You don't get it. Phil's aiming for that hole in the netting at the bottom of the pocket, not the pocket aperture itself. You know that ol' "nothing but net" stuff? :p J/K! :D

Seriously Phil, nice setup! I wish more 6x12s were in my area; I have to travel to NYC to play on one. (But when I do, I have a blast! None of this "golf" stuff either -- pure snooker, the way it's meant to be played on a snooker table!)

You should see the 6x12s the guys play golf on at Hardtimes in LA, CA. Corner pockets have less than 1/4" clearance for ONE BALL.

I'm loving the way it plays now, very much like an Aristocrat steel back (pro cut), you just have to hit em good, even balls on or close to the cushion will go at speed if struck clean. On long balls you don't want any body movement or flinching though or you will fail :D
