Any thoughts on this one?

Yes, it looks like a JW, but is it built like one?

Flat 5/16x18.

So, did someone put an ivory butt cap on an import? Have cheap imports ever came in with ivory butt caps? I'm legit asking. I've never seen it. But I'd bet I've not seen way more things on this earth than I have seen. So anything is possible.

Overall, that's a pretty odd cue. And, holy hell, that's ferrule looks long. It's almost like someone doctored up an import cue or something. I don't know. It's a head scratcher for sure.

looks like a Joss copy/tribute cue to me. I've seen a bunch of his work and this a tad too rough to be a real deal. His inlay work was cleaner than this.

Joss West Tribute cue.... I have no idea maker-I dont think import though"
Similar design By Bill Stroud ,as caramel-brown stained, figured maple,
same butt sleeve design as J/W too,
EXCEPT NEVER huge dots like this cue has
Huebler also had similar design to this cue,
I wonder if it has been modified????
I worked 4 + years at the Auerbach cue shop here in Tulsa, years ago-
The main cue maker-John Parker- RIP-
Was an excellent, retired from US Navy - machinist,
"I saw more than 1 project cue John took completely apart and redesigned and inlayed...

Auerback... I picked up an Auerback with the gold JA logo on the butt cap in a trade probably 25 years or so ago and still have it. Cocobolo forearm and butt sleeve with a birdseye maple handle. Nice cue that people mistake for Bluegrass from across the table.
