Winter 2010 cliff bit me in Tulsa for 40$
James Walden laughed and said while your giving away a money kid....and we all giggled.
Fast forward year later 2011 Casper’s event. Again cliffs first person there I’m second and hell charlie lives right down road if I’m not mistaken. Lots of players didn’t show up due to the really bad ice storm.....and if I say I’m coming you can bet that.
So I came early, I was gonna stay in Houston and it was a good long drive on bad roads.
Cliff had a room a mile away and put me up the event ....he brought it up asked wheee I was staying. Hadn’t even given it two cares....was what it was to me to be perfectly honest.

Cliff and I met in the finals of one of the mini one pocket events actually it was pretty dam great.
Of course I asked questions til it melted the ice outside lol. Loves the game for all the right reasons. Pumped me a tank of gas, rode back to Lafayette to my place....freaked out my roommate for four hours playing banks and one pocket with cliff on my home table.
You go see fleetwoodmac and Geet the band it cost a thousand lol.....I chilled with Joyner 3 days and nights
I think I owe him a months pay
And that thin cut straight back cliff made kinda popular is just the sweetest sickest lil bank.....money maker right there

1400 views and only 5% donation is a little weak. Heck, if you don't have the cash, just donate a fin, sawbuck, whatever. $5 times 1000 folks adds up rather quickly. Who can't donate the price of a cup of coffee ?
It really isnt weak for something that has no widespread publicity or a cute puppy involved. Whatever is given in the first 2-3 days usually is 80% of the total or so incases like this.
Cliff needs to call the Hospital social worker and have her help set him up w medicaid. Then he can use this money to eat/pay rent while he recovers at home.

yeah, but this is one of our own. So, yeah, it's kinda weak that folks that viewed the threat could not even donate $2. Geez.

Cliff is in good spirits and appreciates to no end the support he has received from all of the people that have shown their love and support, but realizes that the road in front of him is a long one. Please continue to donate, your contributions have given him hope that there is a genuine concern, and to him, it means more than we can ever imagine.
I personally am so grateful and appreciative for the positive response he has received, and how AZBilliards have come through and have shown their love in a time where it was so much needed. Thank you again for being there.

I donated 25 bucks(without looking to see what others were giving) and i thought maybe 300-400 people would probably givind 20-50 bucks and reach the goal. When i saw that some people were giving 200-650 it kinda made me feel embarrassed about my measley 25 but i just wanted to say that i am proud of all you guys and your generosity. I hope cliff makes a full recovery and God bless all that gave,and if you aren,t able to give financially,then at least say a prayer please (i promise you that those are worth more than money) ��

Cliff Joyner as we all should know by now has taken a stroke; he's not doing well. I have read some false reports on Cliff's status as many of you others may have read that he's doing well, which is total bullshit. Cliff is in the hospital in good spirits because he knows no other way. Yes, an attribute that he possesses which has made him one of the most well-liked players in professional pool. Cliff has given us close to thirty years of entertainment; he's traveled to just about every tournament in the past thirty years and also has played in every major city in the U.S.A. lets show him some love and help him with his medical expenses. Let AZBilliards be recognized for not only the largest pool site in the world but also a place that supports the champions that play the game. Yes, I'm calling you all out.
There has been a fundraiser set up for Cliff by a young lady by the name of Heather Bryant the fundraisers' organizer; please respond with a small donation. There are over 42,000 forum members here on AZBilliards, yes, 42,000 members, let us try to donate a little something even if it's as little as $20 or even $10, anything. Please, let's make a collective effort and help a man that's not capable of doing it himself, he's desperately in need of help.
