People will still buy the PPV or the DVD even if it was announced from somebody other than TAR.
Not if it is killed before it happens...

yes thats the place what players go there any A players.SpiderWebComm said:The only place that would be is the Yankee Club. They ALWAYS have good events. Takes all day though... they only have 4 tables.
But there is excellent food and drink and crazy-cheap prices. They should become a national chain (hahahaha).SpiderWebComm said:The only place that would be is the Yankee Club. They ALWAYS have good events. Takes all day though... they only have 4 tables.

Sentences don't start with "yo" ...Southpaw said:That may be the longest sentence in history.....
Southpaw

As to the woofing, Im sure Mike could have gone about it in a different manner, but damn, he's 21 and he's trying to make a game. TAR's entire premise is directed at the gambling and action side of pool and part of that is woofing. That being said, if either Justin or Chad requested a certain match not be disclosed then I can see their side.
KentW- can I buy some pot from you? This is like the 3rd time in the short stint you've been here that you've engaged in a woofing match and been called out. I'll take a little 5k sweat bet if you are giving Southpaw the 6, FOR LIFE.
Also, a Railtard is someone that thinks they know everything about pool and really they know nothing. Just because you've been to some tournaments and taken a few pictures doesn't make you an authority on the ins and outs of the billiard industry. Oh, and "Railtard" is my word, much like "scrub" and "stuckzilla" which were stolen from me several years back.
I think you misunderstood his post. There's some background which he alluded to, but the gist is that anyone and everyone can woof and talk all they want, but to use the TAR name as part of the woofing (especially on the internet) really muddies up and distracts what TAR has been doing. And it seems like a lot of people have doing that.Only ERO's said:But the thing that pisses me off about his post is the way he uses "my business." Big f-in deal if somebody let it spill before TAR about an upcoming match. All we heard all weekend is that way for a week or two, we have the biggest announcements coming up. OH NO, somebody broke wind about it before posters and other sh*t could be made. NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. I am sure people will still donate.
yo corvette how does southpaw play. and if i had pot i would be more at ease lol just kidding i never run out of pot that is.hippiepool said:Sentences don't start with "yo" ...
You guys are doing a great job. Keep it up can't wait for more. After I get through the summer months I plan on being at some of your match ups. You guys are the best in pool.IMOJCIN said:Look, if you don't understand what I am talking about I apologize. Go back and look at the threads. Why not do a little research before you decide get outraged?
Mike was asked several times to discuss this in private. He still posted here so I responded to him in public because private doesnt seem to work.
There are lots of reasons why we do not discuss what we are doing in public. For instance, Mike said Jason and John were playing at Duff's. Well we havent talked to Duff yet, it was a possibility not a certainty, now a room owner we work with comes here and see's he is holding an event he has never heard of or maybe we get an offer to bring that match somewhere else and Duff gets pissed cause he didnt get it. Makes us look stupid. Maybe one of the stake horses didnt know about the match...makes us look stupid.
Everything that we do is based on relationships and trust. We take that very serious and if you do not understand it or do not like it that is your problem.
If people really think I was insulting the people who watch our matches by using the word "rail tard" you are 180 out. A rail tard would never watch or buy anything, they would only complain about it and say how much better they could do it without ever having the sack to try.
I am a PROFESSIONAL RAIL BIRD. I do it for a living. I love being around and talking to people who enjoy it as much as I do. If I didnt I would do something else because I promise you I don't do it for the money.

Josh Brothers, Pam Treadway, Mike Young, Joe Cataldi, Brett Stottlemyer, and Me.
I know Kevin Lindstrom who run the tournaments, he is a great guy.
Shaun Wilkie and Mike Davis have played there as well.
More than enough competition.
