I'm calling out Johnf_34. I purchased a Paul Mottey from him a few months ago and since it arrived I haven't been able to stop looking at it and wanting to play with it. I've also pretty much doubled my time at the pool hall and have been missing my weekly installments of Dr. House on Fox TV Japan. With the increase in activity of playing pool I've also lost 15lbs within the past 2 months and I'm missing less balls and it's knocking my action. I also don't have the desire to sit at the counter eating snacks, drinking Cokes and watching dart matches on the TV. John, you've ruined my life.

NOTE: Please realize this is just a parody to lighten the mood around here a little. Granted, the people that get/got ripped off deserve their soapbox and I stand behind them 100%. I hope this makes them smile too. Stress is no good for ya.
 
Man Mully....I know your sense of humor....but seeing my name in the title like that had me worried there for a minute!! I'm glad you are enjoying that cue and you still have it!

Now, my only problem is that I put in a table at my house, so I still eat too much since it's free and near by.....oh well! However, I do have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the table....so that helps a little bit.

Hehe!! My bad, John. I didn't even think about how that could give a negative image if people don't open the thread and read it. I did choose you though because the deal went so smooth. One of the best transactions I've ever had. It's my main player.

I always found the best thing about having my own table is being able to play in your pajamas.
 
almost didn't bother to read the thread, just thought about adding Johnf_34 to my do not do business with list...

hate threads like these with the deceiving titles, always makes me think someone is getting screwed. To bad because they are kinda funny, but I bet I'm not the only ones that just scans titles at times.
 
With all that extra energy you better start doing the Icky shuffle for good luck...

Yeah, I didn't think about the implications of people only scanning the headers. I did purposely avoid using "Bad deal with cue" in the header though.

John, if this gets you bad press I'm sorry, man.

To anyone else, the one deal I had with John went as smooth as butter. He couldn't have been nicer throughout the entire process. If he has something that you want I can tell you that you're in good hands.

Yeah. A long time ago someone did a similar thread about me (joke thread title, glowing review in the content) and I didn't like it at all.

No problems at all! The title wasn't bad in my opinion, I just opened up the wanted/for sale section and saw my name on a thread and just wasn't expecting it! I will say that our deal went extremely well....and it was my first time to ship a package internationally, so thank you for your help in that and your sense of humor then and now!

There are still some people with high rated sense of humor which is very promising for the days we are facing... Great post Mully
