Hi all,

This is a CAM Cue (Chad Mc Clennan) that just might be one of the best deals on the internet.

Body/points: The cue has a vivid purpleheart body and points

Weight: 19.8 oz. with either shaft

Condition: Excellent. There are only a couple of very minor player marks in the finish that you really have to look hard to see.

Veneers: Four (dark purple, green, blue, and natural)

Joint: Stainless steel

Joint collars: Black synthetic with ivory blocks

Pin: Radial

Number of shafts: Two

Shaft diameters: 12.92 & 12.75

Ferrules: Synthetic - appear to be LBM

Tips: One is layered and the other is a one piece - both seem to be medium density

Wrap: Irish linen - Charcoal w/ light grey specks

Inlays: Yes - All inlays are ivory. Shapes are propellers, diamonds, dots, and windows. All inlays with points or edges (diamonds and frames) are sharp, not CNC'd. Twenty inlays on the butt and a large propeller inlay in each point.

Butt: Black

Length: 58 1/2"

Price: SOLD! shipped in the continental US (via insured USPS Priority Mail)

Miscellaneous: The cue also has an ivory Hoppe ring in the butt. It plays very well with the radial pin almost giving it a wood to wood feel. It hits solid and firm (not overly stiff) and has great resonance to the hands. The cue rolls straight. The cue is signed and was made in 2008.

If you want a great hitting and awesome looking cue at a great price, this is just the cue for you! Thanks for looking, and please let me know if you have any questions, or need additional information. I accept Paypal and Postal money orders. Thanks for taking a look!

Steve

This is a fantastic deal on a cue. I have a CAM cue that I play with on occasion and love it. Good luck with the sale!

Thanks C and C! Chad's cues are awesome... Somebody's going to get a real nice deal here.

Thanks lajus007! You also have some nice cues for sale. Just a shame there's so little cash floating around these days! Seems like the economy just has people scared to spend a nickle on anything...

Old school

Love that cue Steve, talk about "Old School". Szamboti propellers and JW ringwork and a GREAT price. Good Luck Steve!

Just wanted to do a little follow up on this deal, as the story became really strange with the Post Office, but ended up the way deals should with forum members.

The buyer of this cue, brianpx05, is a new forum member that had no feedback or iTrader at the time of purchase, so he sent a certified letter with a cashier's check in it for the cue.

Long story short, the Post Office never attempted delivery and it was virtually lost in their system when I went down to pick it up. Nobody had a clue where it ended up, but neither Brian or I had it!

You can imagine how well that went over with two guys that had never done any business together. I couldn't send a cue to a guy with no check and Brian's check was floating around somewhere in the South West. Right in the middle of all this, I had a trip out of town for a couple of days.

Brian and I kept in touch through all of this. Much to the chagrin of the Phoenix Postmaster, the letter was put in the return bin and eventually ended up back with Brian with no attempted delivery and a lot of wasted days...

In the interim, Brian had gotten a little leary of our deal and I sure didin't blame him one bit. Fortunately, he got in touch with Marcus (FAST_N_LOOSE) in regard to a possible escrow deal in case things didn't get any smoother. Marcus told him that we had dealt successfully for lots of years and that escrow wouldn't be necessary.

The deal ended up working out great. Brian reshipped the letter, which arrived very quickly and I sent the cue to him. He called me last night and said he loved it.

I see lots of weirdness with some deals these days, but with a little communication and some help from a forum member, we got 'er done. I'm looking forward to dealing with Brian again in the near future. He followed through like an old veteran and had the patience of a saint.

A very special thanks to Marcus, too! It's nice to know that a good reputation still means something...

Take care,

Steve
