no worries, im not big on using the flash.
if i had a detatchable or remote flash, maybe, but I still dont think it would be appropriate there. luckily i can adjust for the light i have in the room already

Camcorders at DCC are cool as far as I know. Although they must be negotiated up front when dealing with the local hookers.

Also check the front of your camera for any type of light that may come on to assist in auto focusing. Those lights are very distracting to the players and you will be told not to use your camera if it has one.

Many of the point and shoot cameras have those lights. Most of the upper end amateur and professional quality cameras do not.

Turn your camera on, point it at yourself and press the shutter release. You will find out one way or the other if you have one of those lights.

Very good point Rich. I'll be using manual focus this weekend though. But good to bring up for others reading this thread!
