Can Anybody host my recording of the match?

Ok, don't get too excited. Somehow, my DVR cut off after only a half hour, when the score was 5-2 in the first match.

2nd, it is HORRIBLY fuzzy, especially at the end. I did not have my new laptop configured right. I ran from school to try and configure it in time, went downstairs to watch it on the Tivo with my family, and just let it run, thinking it would tape all 2 hours. I did know it would still be fuzzy, but the reception got worse instead of better. I can now get my channels pretty clearly, but that doesn't help this recording.

It is in DVR-MS format that can be played in Windows Media Player and it is 688 MB. That is too big to post here (duh) and too big to email to anyone. But the audio is good and you will be able to hear and kind of get the feel of how it went.

If the IPT is going to be selling this in DVD format, I don't want to give it all away by transferring my Tivo to digital and posting that, but I figured they surely couldn't object to this really cruddy version. Again, I apologize how lousy it is, but if anyone wants to host it on their website, I will be happy to upload it.

Did you try Zippy Videos? You might have to break it down into smaller files, but it is free.

PS: Your avatar does not fall in line with the uniformity of the other avatars. Just something I noticed. The rest of us stand as one. Please join our misiion.

1. I looked at Zippy Videos but I would need to whack it up into 20 MB pieces. Not sure I want to do that. I will keep searching.

2. I am married, however, I thought I would post a new avatar just for you. Since you took Brad, I liked George Clooney, Richard Gere (pictured), Harrison Ford, Matthew McConaughey, Nick Lachey and Sean Connery. So here you go. You just totally crack me up!!

It would be better if you could compress it somehow into wmv format, but you can upload up to 1gb on www.yousendit.com

Then others can download it from there for a week for free.

It's slow but can be done.

The problem with yousendit is that it will only stay up for 7 days or 25 viewings, whichever come first.
 
I've looked into other sites and you either have to own the video (uncopyrighted), or they give you hosting but the people trying to download it are limited to only 10MB without paying for it. So unless someone has their own website with a gig or so availability, then I guess this isn't going to work. I will look into compression.

What you actually need to share the file is software called RevConnect.
It became a common way to exchange pool vids amongst forum folks.

there is a lot of pool video sharing going on at interpool.dnsalias.com. However you need Revonnect software to get there. People are sharing 100s of gigs of video there.
