I don't usually disagree with KJ, but I have this tool & it works beautifully... JER
Jer,
I'm not saying that the tool doesn't work. Of course it works. If it didn't, it would be a paper weight, not a tool.
I guess what I should have said was that I've got 3 tool-chests full of every pincher, puller, twister and driver known to man. I don't know that I have to spend any more money on a specialized McD tool just to pull a bumper. To be honest, I don't use a tool to pull their bumper. I do it by hand.
I've had to re-weld the McD bumper tool that Sey has.
Tool steel doesn't like to be welded without pre-heat which is how I think these tools were made.
So, what did this tool cost you, $25 or there abouts? I'd rather buy wood. Much better return.
For that same $25 I can buy enough wood to build 2 cues. Add a couple of 314 shafts and I've got $1,000 worth of cues to sell. See what I mean about return?
I may be cheap but I know how to make money.
It's alright to disagree with me because the way I look at it is, there may be a lesson to be learned. Never too old for that.
Craig,
The only reason for that tool to be at a Bar Mitzvah is to remind the young man what happened to him 13 yrs earlier. I think you meant to say Briss.
