We got a storm like that last week here in the Great White North!

Today and tomorrow Chicago is looking at maybe a foot of snow and we, 200 miles south and west of Blagoavich country, are looking at 1/2" to 1" of ICE... and snow mixed in. I got my generator hooked up for the first time ever so I've got heat and pool table lights.

Currently at my in laws place and the view is from their living-room.
At the far left you would find the worlds strongest water currents due to tidal changes in the sea

Well that's a fair bit in one go.
The snow record in the main city north of us in Tromso (last letter is a O with a / through it) was prox 2.50m

Entrance to the houses was like tunnels..
