I bought this at a pool shop yesterday for $95 and it is my first cue. I can't find any information on it though. I've been looking for Players sticks, but it seems like my logo is different. Is this a real "Players" cue? It is really nice and the feel is amazing. It's 20oz and in the lower picture at the bottom of the cue is the number 1212. There are no marking on the shaft.

Probably a Players Cue as I see that logo under Players Cues on different sites along with other Players logos.

It's a bit funny that you are worried you don't have a "real" Players cue. I doubt anyone would make a fake of a $100 cue. It's like being worried that a $20 pair of shoes were really made in China.

What's funny about it? The twenty dollar bill isn't the highest denomination of US currency; yet, it's counterfeited the most.

What I find funny is he bought something without knowing what it is and trusting a seller that doesn't know what they're selling. Brian.

No that wasn't the case at all. I've been playing pool constantly for a couple months now, but am new to actually buying cues and learning about different brands. It's not that I didn't have faith it was a real stick, I was just confused as to why the logo looked different compared to other Players logos out there.
It was a big pool shop and they had a great and quality selection of cues. The guy who owned the shop knew I had no idea what I was doing so he came over and explained to me the different weights, brands, composite vs. wood, and even pointed out a few cues that were overpriced and that I shouldn't buy as a beginner. I knew he wasn't trying to get a ton of money out of my pocket and he was just an enthusiast with a passion for helping people out. I'm really enjoying this cue. It's a nice 20oz and has a great feel to it. Night and day compared to playing with the cues at the sports bar I go to.
So I appreciate your concern, but you really couldn't come to that opinion based on my posting at all. Sounds like you made that up in your sick and twisted head :)

Glad you're enjoying the cue. That's really all that matters.

Thanks man! I'm really having a lot of fun learning how to play pool. Can't wait until I get my auto game down. I'm still have a bit of trouble learning all the angles and how to hit the OB correctly, but it's awesome picking up another hobby.

Pfduser hit it on the head if it feels good in your hands then make it work for you and don't worry about what others think it's your choice not there's tell them to kick rocks if they say otherwise.
