Playing on it would be tough enough, what if you had a few drinks? This is from 1906. Notice that our sport was on the front page.

I've seen this before, I think they were used on old cruise ships. :D Very nice picture.

Looks like it since you can see the water outside the portholes.

What the....?

Nice picture, but there is NO WAY you can play pool on a cruise ship. There is NO TIME that the ship is not pitching except for docking.

I play on this table or a similiar one almost every night I go out and shoot with my buddies. After 3-4 Jaegermiesters and a couple dozen beers the room starts "pitching" just like a cruise ship... I often have to hold onto the table as I walk around it just so I don't fall down... Rough sea's I tell ya.
 
i think the self leveling ones on new cruise ships have some real time computer/hydraulic leveling system. cool stuff.
 
Is the guy in the background wearing a monocle? You don't see them much anymore.

Wow, that is very cool man...thanks for that info. It's nice to know that billiards still exists outside of the pool world. Even the rich and famous enjoy some billiards and a stogie once in a while.
