Lol....I once sold a R.Black with figure in the BEM that looked like Jesus.

Joe, call Leon should not be a problem. You and Jet are both first class.
"country"

1- How about someone ask Timmy if he ever did a split point? Or maybe he can shed some light he is in your area and I would think someone has to have access to Timmy.
2- Have someone that can take a decent picture do so
3- or send me the cue I will refund Jet the money he paid me you guys can figure out your end of the deal
4- I also ask this thread be left active

JV (---btw 1/8 is thicker than most veneers... this way the audience that doesn't know have something to gage against for later...

i think this is a good idea. I'd be interested to know whether Timmy ever did a split point. esp if every point is split.

Leon's got to be able to take a picture of it .. I've seen pictures he takes of the cues he builds ...

3- or send me the cue I will refund Jet the money he paid me you guys can figure out your end of the deal

This is probably not our best option because of the difference in sale prices. The cue now has 2 straight 13mm shafts and joint protectors from Jim Baxter.. if we can figure out the issue with the points, I can offer the cue for sale and refund Bob the price he paid me for it.

I don't know who made the cue but YOU should have this thread deleted and kindly tell your friend to post the thread himself. Are you sure you want to put yourself in the situation of judging other Cue makers work on an open forum. I've always liked you but I'm a bit disappointed you would do this. Twent years now, that I have been doing cues and I have never forgot about yesterday or the promise of tomorrow.
mike I never onced mentioned the cuemakers name in the thread and I would never never do that I'm very sorry I posted this up the point I was trying to make is that if I was going to sell the cue I would mention the flaws as a seller it would only be fair to the buyer.

Thank you.

who knows the history of a cue
i do know tim scruggs never let cues out with even small imperfections
i have seen him throw away imperfect cues so regardless of what or whose cue this is is,i think it is best to drop the thread as Leon has

I applaud Leon for removing the cue in question, and Mike for his sensitivity in a tricky spot

I have seen those on AZ that seem to thrive on controversy with little regard to the reputation of others.I hope we don't have any of that continue here.

Blessed are the peacemakers

Hay Leon

I have offered to buy it. Mike and Tim used to play practicle jokes on friends and customers. One of them usually Michael would come out of the back screaming this is crap. Look at it. Piece of %%%t. Throw it down against the floor and stomp on it as the victim stood there with their mouth open saying anything from don't to I want it.
Please be kind enough to ship it to me to examine signature required. I will send payment to the owner. He has PMed me already.
You will have a PM with my address.
