Can you spot where the "round points" end and the "Sharpee'd points" begin?

Can you spot where the "round points" end and the "Sharpee'd points" begin?

I bought this cue here on az about a week ago from a well respected seller..:frown: It was listed as a "Schon R2 in mint condition".. I am posting these pictures to ask for people's opinion on how to resolve this issue. The seller won't offer a refund and would rather dispute the issue since he has 10x more iTrader points than I do.

WOW - I'd be asking for a refund in a heartbeat. If the seller said "no" because of some BS like iTrader points, you could rest assured that their name would've been in that first post of yours.....

I take that back - I wouldn't ask for a refund, I'd demand one, provided you still have the cue in the same condition it was sent to you in.

This pic says it all....

I got it exactly a week ago, had a stiff neck for about 4 days now so I haven't really put any mileage on the cue.

wait a minute.... I know who you got that from.... if he doesn't come clean on his own with a quickness, I'd be happy to post his name. This deal is all kinds of ****ed up.

If someone didn't know it was "sharpied", then they have no business affirming it is what is "supposedly" is...

Dont be so fast to jump here guys. I am the seller and I never said I wouldnt refund the cue . He never said before tonight that he wanted to send the cue back .I have a pm from him saying its all good that he like the cue and I will post that and other pms. As for the cue it is a Schon R2 with dashed ring work and sharpe points just and described . I bought the cue from Maxic here on the board as an R2 and it is an R2 with dashed rign work and sharpe points . I will contact George aka Maxic and he will tell you the same .

If you want a refund just send the cue back .i will drive it to Even Clarke my self if he says it is not an Schon R2 i will issue a full refund minus shipping.

Thanks ... Larry

Here is my post when I sold it .

Here is a very nice Schon R2 in fantastic shape . Other than a little blueing on the shaft its like new . I was shocked for a cue of this age the condition it was in .

Comes with one shaft 13mm . It is around 19.5 - 20 oz I cant check that I dont have a scale .

I looked it up in the blue book its on page 707 it says that in 98% condition its worth $850 - 90% condition its worth $640

Well its better than 90% but not 98% cuz of the slight shaft blueing .

THIS CUE HAS BEEN SOLD THANKS

Thanks ....... Larry

The cue on top is my stl4, the 2nd one is the cue you sold me. Check out how the sharpeed points starts where the round points on my stl4 end.

Dank have you seen this cue in person yet ?

Thanks ... Larry
I think that if the buyer says the cue isn't as described, then the buyer is entitled to a full refund including shipping.

I'd say in this case, it's definitely not as described.

No, The Beginner saw it and had the same impression. But when I sent him the pics earlier today, he did say that the points were kinda shady.

I will send it back. You didn't give me the option for a refund, you said you will win both disputes on paypal and here on az.

Yup

I see that the point has been colored in at the tip to look like a spliced proing. Some times the seller is not aware that a cue has been doctored up. This could really be a honest mistake by the seller.
Honest mistakes do happen. That is why a satisfaction gaurantee is always nice. Perhaps you should have just called and worked it out.

Re: R2 Schon
No worries bud, I like the cue.. I just think it was overpriced since you said it was a mint condition runde era schon. Mint is totally different from newly refinished.

I did give Larry a benefit of the doubt.. Sent him a message about it and all I got was some nasty attitude. He knew I was gonna post the pics before I posted it. That is exactly what I told Dank this morning, maybe Larry didn't know that the cue was sharpee'd.
