To the forum,

First of all, I have been posting on this forum for a while now (almost 500 posts) and I have never said a bad thing about anybody on here. Today when my wife was randomly attacked on here I lost my cool. I was so damn upset I was shaking from anger. I am not sure if anyone on this board has met me but I am one of the nicest people you could ever meet and I am usually cool, calm and collected. I was and still am completely shocked that someone would sink so low to attack my wife. If you attack me that is one thing but when you go after the person who I care the most about in this whole world shame on you. He doesn't know me and he surely doesn't know my wife. I have had some time to think about this and I am still not sure what possesses somebody to do such a thing. The only thing I am sorry about is sinking to his level for a short period of time and losing my temper. (which doesn't happen often)
I heard he has been banned but I don't see where it is written under his name or anything???

To the 8 people (minus the person who started the thread) that voted on the poll created - I cannot believe you even voted. I challenge you to come forward and admit who you are and why you felt the need to vote on that poll. Did you think it was funny? I would have much more respect for you if you came forward than if you just stay in hiding.

I have posted on a lot of different forums and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had on any forum and I hope it never happens again.

That is all I have to say at this point.

well buddy i dont know what happened , but there are a few who just love to attack ! and try to make people look bad when they respond. Iwish i could say just shrugg it off . but i undersatand sometimes the just pull the wrong strings. but try not to pay attention to them! my father always told me you fight with the pigs you come out smelling like one! Good luck and defend your family whenever you feel the need!
 
People never cease to disgust me. I didn't see the thread but from what it sounds like someone should get banned NOW. I am sorry this happend to you and your wife.

I don't think it was meant as an attack
as was stated by someone (I forget who)
in the original post. I'm not defending
said A-hole but I believe it was a joke gone wrong.
I tend to be a little naive though.
I tried to think about all of the vulgar friends that
I have and the things that they say about women.
This exceeds most,if not all, and they're usually more
discreet and said about women that no one in the
vicinity has an attachment to. Try to brush it off.

Hi Coop,

I see what you are saying but in no way did it look like a joke or sound like a joke. It was done in a couple different threads before he started his own thread with the poll. IMO it was an attack and could be interpetted as nothing else. It is not bothering me so much right now because I have had time to think about it and take it where it came from. That being said it still upset me very much and was WAY out of line.

Being in an inter-racial relationship
has really thickened my skin.
My wife is a real looker too and
the comments never stop.
No matter how vulgar or rude
I know they're out of either
envy or respect.
Two emotions that some people
are too uncomfortable with to
express acceptably.

The poll thread got locked before
I had a chance to read it entirely
and missed the origins.
Maybe I'm way off with this
mental giant but... I think he's
jealous and socially inept but I'm
always hoping for the best in people.

You have an attractive wife whose image is on a public forum visited by thousands of people per day. It's impossible to predict their reaction to various situations as they view the image while responding to you. Who knows what they'll think or type. It's the nature of the beast....

BB Brain prolly promulagated the poll prior to pounding his pud.

Your reaction is understandable and BB Brain deserves whatever comes his way even if he is only ignorant.

Did not see the poll before it was shut down, but I assume it was something similar to the comment made in the Scott Lee poll. I deffinately see how that would upset you, but your wife is beautiful and Lee is a raging idiot. Hopefully his comments won't keep you down long.

Not to pat myself on the back, but i have dated really attractive women my whole life.

That being said, i think there is something about attractive women that causes stupid people to stick their foot in their mouth.

With my current girlfriend, it never ceases to amaze me, the comments that she generates from all sorts of people. Both male and female.

I remember how one guy was sitting next to me when my girl came walking in whom he had never met, and within seconds, he was talking about her body and what he'd do to her, to me.

For a split second, i wanted to smash his head in with my cue, but then i thought to myself that there was no way he could have known, and once he found out, he was extremely embarrassed.

Had he for whatever reason made another comment after he found out, i would have crushed him.

So in your case while i think BONEHEAD's original comment might have been something along the lines of him being a RETARD and not malicious(i could be wrong), his follow up comment deserved nothing less then the wrath of BVAL.

You have every right to be enraged, but look on the bright side.

Despite his ignorant remarks, he was in a F-ed up sort of way, saying that your wife is attractive.

That's the only thing that has stopped me from a LOT of altercations, is knowing that they think my girl is hot, and she is with me, and not them.
 
I nearly got my nose broken a few years ago, because some guy that was with his friends started making lewd sexual comments about my girlfriend. At first he was talking to his friends when we were walking by, but he was saying them loud enough for us to hear. I just gave a glance in his direction, put my arm around her and we kept walking.

Then the jerk decided to say some more comments directly to her. I stopped and looked at him, and told him to go f*** himself. He ran over to me and got in my face, cussing and taunting me as he ran up. He was in mid-sentence, cussing at me, and then I reached back and slapped him open-handed in the face as hard as I could. That stunned him, and I came at him with a flurry of punches. He landed two good blows to my nose and the side of my head, and people grabbed me and held me back, and his friends grabbed him and held him back. My nose was bleeding all over me, but he had a hand-print on his face and some lumps too.

I was in a blind rage, I really wanted to hurt him bad. That was the first time I've ever struck someone that didn't hit me first. That was the angriest I have ever been in my entire life. It wasn't because of pride, or anything like that. It was because what he said upset my girlfriend. I couldn't stand it. It's been three years since then, and even though she is now my ex girlfriend, it still makes me angry to think about it. What a pr!ck that guy was! I totally understand how you feel, BVal. Whoever said that to your girl is a low-life.
 
BVAL, it is most probable that that person didn't know that was your wife. and to say that the pic in your avatar might have given the wrong impression. anyway, the comment was pretty tasteless and provocative. If it was my wife, I could have gone berserk as well and might have said much nastier things to that person like " Too bad your wife ain't that good lookin enough to even spend a cent on her " or " You must be that really desperate to get laid that you mistook someone else's wife as a "******". ooopppssss, got carried away there.

This is absolutely true. most guys say those unnecessary things to certain women they can't have nor have a chance to go out with. it's an ego thing eventhough it sounds pathetic. there are two types of obsession, one is being vocal to what you like in a person which is inappropriate, and the other one is being silent yet having those wet dreams/fantasies and drooling about the person, but still inappropriate in a certain way. :D

the only good about the latter is that you don't know what is kept inside a man's head or without you knowing. I, for one , am aware of this fact. call me intuitive but I know when guys have an eye for my wife. it's better to deal with these types rather than the vocal ones.

Better get some REAL thick skin, ugly her up (if that s even possible ;) ) or take Cindy Laupner's advice - "Some boys take a beautiful girl, And hide her away from the rest of the world."

Oh yeah, I'd advise never letting internet personas get under your skin. Save that for real life if you must.


Now I'm all currious as to what teh poll was about /sigh
 
What happened was disgraceful. Speaking as a poster that likes and admires you, all I can say is that I hope that this disgusting incident doesn't deter you from continuing to post.

I recall from personal expereince that when I posted about my 9/11/01 experiences here in New York on the fifth anniversary of that tragic day in which almost every New Yorker lost family, friends, or both, a poster named Dhakala posted tastelessly and insensitively in response. I remember how shocked I was, but realized that the shocking actions of a single poster on the forum shold not be mistaken for an indication of what kind of people post here.

We all feel for you, but unlike the poster that has maligned you, we value you as a member of our AZB family.
 
You have every right to be very angry. The guy is obviously a creep and I sincerely hope he is banned for good.

It's obvious you are proud of your wife but maybe you shouldn't put her out front, in harms way, where abuse is bound to be part of the reaction her picture will get. You are providing an opportunity for the low-lifes to take a shot at her. Change your avatar and she won't be the object of abuse in the future.

Don't you just envy women. I would go nuts if the ladies fight over me! lol ! :D. speaking of the ladies, they are more tolerant than men with regards to those particular situations like having the hots for somebody's boyfriend or husband. ever wonder what women talked or congregate about during those bathroom breaks? most likely it would be about their fantasies about men, but generally men. how I came to know this? fairly easy, I've been hiding on one of those cubicles for half an hour. :D

on the otherhand, we guys want our woman to look their best and let those other men drool all over 'em. it's just that there are times that some *****s would just appear all of sudden, giving some unnecessary remarks. just feel bad about these guys since it's evident that most of those kind wear a big "L" on their foreheads. sad, but true ! :o
