Caras-Mosconi 1963

Nice video. Reminds me of a winter's night in East Lansing, circa 1973, when Mr. Caras showed up for a demonstation at the Mich. St. Univ. student union. He played the campus short stop running 55 off the break and then proceeded to do some trick shots. He passed out and autographed editions of a trick shot book which I still have today.
Additionally, that night I had brought in a new Viking Cue having received it just that afternoon. Mr. Caras spotted the cue and asked if I'd like him to shape the tip. I of course agreed as he completed the job with exacting care. At that point, he would have been ten or so years older than in the video, but could still play.

The same Mosconi-Carras match is in the "History" section of the AZBTV site, as well as some interviews with BCA HOF'ers "Machine Gun" Lou Butera, Joe Balsis, Miinesota Fats, Jean Balukas and Dorthy Wise :)
