Anyone know who builds reasonably priced cases that will hold a but up to 34"?? I know about Porper, anyone else??

Long Cases

I have a super long old old Fellini that is long enough and my Haliburton Zero 3 x 5 case would also work.

The Guiseppi cases that I have some long cues stored in are only 34" overall.

I would talk to Whitten
A friend of mine with a 64" cue has a custom Whitten.

I'm sure several people here have more ideas.

case

i would call dennis swift he is fairly cheap and you get a custom made case....

Thanks for the replies

Need at least a 2/4 with a jump cue pocket. My last one I had customized by a shoemaker and was only $150 in leather. There must be some standard mfg's that offer extra length??

Longer Cue Case

John Hager can hook you up with a long case.

http://www.jwhager.com/

You can contact by mail:

J.W. Hager & Assoc., Inc.
201 Grace Street
Dalton, GA 30720

Or by phone:

(706) 452-1560

I suggest you contact John Hager by phone.

He did one of his newer style 2x4 cases for me and I also got an optional matching 1x2 at the same time.

These cases:

Offer a lot of protection for the shafts and butt,

Have a built in cue extension with each butt insert for the case, &

Typically include a shorter cue extension, shaft hanger and bridge head for not much more per case.

I got the cue ball storage pouch as an optional add on and extra top for the 2x4 case.

These cases initially had bungee type cords for the case storages pouches, cue they are now part of the case. The straps are highly adjustable for a comfortable carring position. These cases come with a bag to store the case in like a camping chair case.

I ordered a leather lizard type print in a special color and had the case 2 weeks (or faster) after I ordered it. This was in an extra long size.

What really sold me on these cases was Fatboy's video by Inside Pool Mag's "Whats in your case". Solid protection - although Tabasco sauce not included as an option :( .

Mr. Barton claims to make cases at extra lengths for no additional charge according to his website. www.jbcases.com

Mr. Swift charges $10 per extra inch according to his website www.casesbyswift.com

Their prices might be a little higher than what you consider reasonable though.

Perhaps if you told us the total length of your parts we might be able to suggest a ready-made case that suits your needs.

Just out of curiosity, who built your 64" cue? I am gonna get a longer cue myself, what about the porper didnt you like. I was thinking of getting one of the porper soft cases.

Talisman makes theirs to accommodate an extra long cue standard. I had an extra-extra long cue and Tony made it longer. I got a new case when I decided to have Viking take my shafts down to a more normal length.

You could buy my old one. Trouble is, it says Wonder Woman down the back, lol.

My cue was built by

Ronnie Powell at Qperfect at http://www.queperfect.biz/
It was pricey, but plays well. I carry Schmelke up to 64" or you can call them direct for well under $200 with pin, ferrule, wrap, etc. of your choice.
Porper is probably ok, but he has no info on his website. I am in Mich if you want to see the custom Schmelke.

We will be happy to make you a case to fit your cue. As was mentioned above we don't charge extra for longer cases. We can make custom JB cases, custom GTF cases, or even custom length Sterling cases. Any case that is offered by Sterling Gaming, GTF or JB Cases can be made to an extra length for no additional cost. Time is the only constraint as we are constantly booked with orders.

So from $5 to $2500 whatever you want we can build it.
