Case interior

Maybe Viking will be helpful. Chance a call. Maybe ChopDoc has a suggestion. He’s pretty innovative.

Would cost you more than its worth.

If you have any sewing ability, make yourself a bag that will fit in the case.

would be worth it to me to have the jb ultra pad

hmmm but i do have the bag that my last jb case came in, snip snip well see

i asked john, ill see what he says, im up for some sewing though

Oh boy, unless you're a Jack Justis or a John Barton, it's probably not doable. A lot of 2 by 4 cases have removable interior liners, but what you've described probably isn't that. If you really want to save it, I would ask a professional, as those tube cases are very secured and tight inside. Best of luck.

All the best,
WW

Im in the same boat, Go to a Michel fab store talk to some one their and ask if anyone dose side work and show them pics of other inside of cases and see what they can do.
I have one lady that said no problem!
The problem is me getting time to redo the leather out side and getting it right:p:p!!

Ya it was a cloth interior
Thinner than a cotton tshirt
I just ripped it out, was in there good

The bad my jb 1x1 came in will do the job for the interior

The Viking tube type 1x2 cases I've had over the years are so small they barely fit 1-butt and 2-shafts, even with that ultra-thin material they use.
I still have the burgundy Viking 1x2 Marty Kamen-Omaha Fats used.
I can't see anyone's interior inside that case fitting anything,
