Case maker recommendations

I'm thinking of having a case custom made. There are no custom case makers here in the UK that I know of and the only one I've heard of is a company called JB Cases.

There must be other fine case makers, surely?

There are tons of casemakers both here in the US and overseas. JB Cases (John Barton) is based out of China, but has been traveling around the US the past few months. Off the top of my head, I can name a few case makers that are on the forum: Chuck Fields, Volturi, Rusty Melton (I think), and Jack Justis used to be on here (Not sure if he still is).

Chuck Fields cases look really nice and I'm sure he'd be happy to work with you!

JB cases are truly custom. You can't go wrong with great quality at great prices.
I recommend the Deluxe CTE series. :thumbup2:

Rusty Melton
Ron Thomas
Phil Eastwood
Jim Murnak
Garth Bair
Dennis Swift

I'm currently having Dennis Swift make me a custom case to match my incoming gambler cue. He has been a pleasure to work with and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

I don't know what his "caseload" is like.

Anything particular you're looking for?

That's the huge problem with custom cases. To keep everything from becoming a production, it takes time... a lot of time.

I'd love to get a nice simple leather case in the $400 range, but I don't want to wait 2 years. Waiting for cues to be built is as much as I can handle lol

I'd recommend a Volturi cue case. Roger treats his customers like friends and will help you in any way he can. The price is very fair as well, so it certainly won't hurt to try his case out.

When we are unable to maintain our 30 day turn around, we stop taking orders.

I like this policy!

Currently have an order in with one of the previously mentioned case makers which was supposed to have almost no wait time. We're currently at 4 months after the 100% (non-refundable) deposit was made and no artwork has been produced yet.

However, what I want to be made is a bit different from his other works and the price was unbeatable. So I wait...... And wait.....

Thanks for the kind words!
