bottom line each new cue order i take i tell the customer i have a 6 month warranty on all new cues to the original owner..may be i should check to see if my new house has a life time warranty
the cost is $ 50.00 to refinish that cue need to say anymore if you don't like my policy don't order my cue there are 999 other makers out there, this will be my last post to this..mfsfut thread i'm going fishing.

If my name is on the cue I stand behind it. I was currently contacted by someone who purchased a used cue of mine . It is ~15 yrs old. He loves the cue but it has developed a slight roll (his description). I asked him to send it to me and I will correct it NO CHARGE!!!!

This b.s. proves what a lying sack that you are. I have never in my life asked you to build or sell me one of your cues. I don't want one of your cues ever. I play with a Scruggs cue. Have been for over 30 years. Your name was mentioned in Timmy's shop by others from time to time and they always said "don't say that name around here". Please do us a favor and stop trying to pump yourself up by lying to everyone, you sound like Romney.

I do have to admit Mike, your cues play good and you have a great warranty. I'm out of here and if anyone needs me i only have a 6-month warranty on editing any of my posts.

Dave gets my respect. Whenever I run into him, I get to be his personal rack boy for the night. FKer that he is.
 
This type of thread is always bothersome to me, I understand that it is the internet and OP is entitled, but its gotten out of hand. Being a Md player I know most people that is being bashed in this thread.

As to Leon, I have never met him but I know his reputation is pretty good, never heard a problem. I am contemplating getting a cue made by him in the near future. Pictures dont lie.

As to Mike, my brother just recently got a custom made by him and it is phenomenal. Not only that the experience was fantastic. We went to the shop, talked cues, he explained everything from his style to his business approach in a very thorough manner. Any negative opinions of Mike, I really just cannot see it.

Both of these men make great cues and are very good to the Md area, I think that is what should be said more often. Not bashing cue makers for offering to repair a cue at a reduced rate when its 2 years old and held by the 2nd owner...:confused:

I'll second that.
I wish I could get some of my cues refinished for that price. It would save me from having to do it myself.

I see that the OP hasn't returned to the thread. Guess he didn't get the backing that he had hoped for.

This is Ask the Cue Maker Forum. Starting a bash thread only results in
fighting and pitting one maker and friends against another. It serves no purpose other than to degenerate a perfectly good forum.
 
I hate it when people do Chicken s--t stuff like this , just looking for attention . I think Leons offer was more that fare , now I would tell him to put it where the sun dont shine . Just my 2 cents worth . Jim

It isn't hard to to look up all the people who( like the eye popping fronts) leon has displayed (with pictures for future Customers!!! Always one nuck on az to slash other cue-makers( Poor taste!) mark Leon just sold some BEM wood in like 1 day 2 batches!!.
