Do you think 1 vs 1 matches will ever be paid off using cellphone to cellphone debit/card pay rather than cash? If so this would be more convenient in some cases where both parties know and trust each other, not sure how it would work for taxes though.
 
How do you post-up a phone? Gambling is ALL about getting the cash, the smell and the feel of it. Somehow "I got the Paypal" just doesn't quite do it.

Not talking about paypal. I'm talking about samsung pay or iPhone pay, it's a direct deposit from your debit card to theirs through your phone and it is instant.

Amen, brotha. Question for OP: Why would you want to pay-off/collect this way? How rough is your poolroom? Afraid of getting robbed? CASH is KING!!
 
Cash is king, but only hard core's carry tons of cash now. Even 15 yrs ago, most people got paid on Friday's and "cashed" their checks. They came into the pool room with money in their pockets, and had some disposable cash. Those days are long, long, long gone. I could see paying phone to phone with Venmo or Paypal or apple pay etc, could work well with the way people "carry" money today.

The only time I think it would cause a problem is "big" action, for 1k or more. All the electronic pay systems have some sort of limits imposed on them.
