Champion Billiards Cafe to Host Panet Pool Tour 1st Stop Feb 12th & 13th $1000 Added

I would like a few things cleared up.... This will help me decide what I will be paying as well as others

What are the following guys handicap/ABCD

Shaun Wilkie
Ryan McCreash
Matt ClatterBuck
Tony Long
Walter Koch
Alan Duty
Tommy Kay
Steve Wigglesworth

These are some regular players in the beltway area. If this ? is answered, that could help a few of the ?'s.

The $35 tour fee is not good with no other events sheduled yet. Is this gonna be a points tour. Is there gonna be year end prizes and tournament. There are several unaswered ?'s lingering. I am hoping this tour takes off. I will be to every tournament I can if it is ran right.

First 3 probably pro, next 4 probably A

or does anyone know if there will be more events scheduled in the 2011 season? I think this needs to be addressed soon b4 expecting any player to pay a yearly tour member fee - if the tourney directer or promoters of this tour answer this question b4 this event then I may justify hoping in my car and driving the 4 hrs to get there!

www.planetpooltour.com

says inside pool will be streaming ladies' and men's events

... and that both events have $1000 added each

Mike & Jose hope to see everyone this weekend.

Planet Pool Tour has 5 confirmed added events for 2011 all with $1,000 added Open and $1,000 added Women's events. We also have other dates not yet confirmed. Billy you are at least one of them in Shirlington Va.

I spoke to Mike Davis today and he will be playing in the Planet Pool Tournament this weekend. Also Mike Sigal will be playing and doing cue repairs during the event.

JR from insidepool.com will be live streaming top matches online for those that cannot be at Champion's Frederick MD for the Event.

I'm curious does anyone know if they let people come in just to have a beer and watch for a while? This is not far from my house.

I'd like to check it out but I don't have the time (or the skill) to compete in the tournament this weekend. It's not quite close enough to take a chance on driving over just for them to say "Sorry we're closed for a tournament today."

Hey it is wide open and they welcome anyone to come eat and have a few drinks. They some times have bands and a cover charge but I can not speak on that topic as I don't know??

The place did not charge tournament members a cover with the bands their. So, i am pretty certain no cover to watch tournament.

Thanks for asking.......The pool room will be open to the public and all are welcome to watch the matches for free. We encourage spectators and please dine and drink while you are there.

You are a champion... pay that big money..

Thank you Danny...........We are just trying to make the tournament fair for all level players to play in. We have a sliding scale from $50 to $100 for the amateur to the top pro. The top pros almost always cash and the amateur never cashes. It is only fair and we want to encourage the C and D players to continue to play.
Jose has been doing this sliding scale for years and it works great.
Remember only the entry fee is handicapped. Not the matches.........

Anyone have the final results - both Men's and Women's?
