A guy comes on and asks what kind of cue someone is using. We all come on here and scour though every kind of cue we can find - because we love them. It's cue porn. Maybe he liked the design of the cue and would like to buy one. Maybe he would like one of the cue maker's on here (that make their living doing so) to replicate it, or use some of the design in a new cue. BUT NO - we can't just answer his questions. There has always got to be some uppity ***** that has to put him on blast for asking a question. If you don't have the answer - or you think he is a cherry that doesn't deserve your time - DON'T POST. It's that easy. It's no wonder that membership is dropping off here. This place is a pit of vipers. Do you guys really love pool? Stop driving members and potential members off so they will buy more memberships, buy more cues - and play more pool. Come on already. I bet Mike Howerton is not ecstatic when he sees this stuff going on. Just treat people the way you would want your son, wife, or daughter to be treated if they just came on here. * By the way - I declare the next person that uses the "It's not the arrow - it's the indian" quote, to be an ignorant , abusive slob that needs to get some new material.
Over 40 posts in this thread and only one guy and one post was able to address your question :embarrassed2:
Score card girl at 9,40, interesting sign language.
You should be able to ask without reservation. I only wish I had known the answer. Don't let responses here get you down. There are a lot of great people here. You will find them eventually. Good luck.
Really, it's a good format when one of the world class players doesn't get a decent opportunity throughout a match?btw: i think this format is quite coolplayers have to be strong at all disciplines since they are drawn, good format and interestin. gonna watch some of these matches
The match was awesome...... Thank you for posting it. I think the Taiwanese are doing something right with they're players . Talk about being able to put a strong MC team togetherThey would be devastating imo but I don't know how they would handle the "mob" environment . I'm sure it's something one would have to get accustomed to. In a professional environment like they are accustomed to.... I think they're the best on the planet.

It further confirms to me that 10 ball and of course 9 ball and 14.1 are all dying games.
Imagine traveling to and paying to see Tiger Woods play golf and he gets one safety shot. But I guess we did get to see about 70 shots that a good 10 year old could play during that match.

The most hilarious thing I recognized here at AZ is whenever someone praises a pro to be unbeatable, it's like a "play" button for some guys to jump in and replay his old tape about "put him on a long race with Shane bla bla, I will put money on Shane bla bla". It's like a bunch of conservatism guys who feel the need to put American Pool on the top of the world anytime anywhere and the only argument they can hang on is "play shane in a long race". Btw, not a buzz from these guys during and after the CSI Invitational. Oh wait, I'm not sure, maybe some still mumured "play Shane in a race to 100" lol
one player didn't have a chance because his opponent was flawless, that's it, it's not about format
I do think the Taiwanese are so good because of the format here, short races require them to play at highest level of their game right off the start, you can see even the lags were almost perfect. Chang Yu Lung and Chang Jung Lin even had to re-lag in the final.
They all know that if they give their opponent a chance, they wouldn't come back to the table, that's why they have to perfect their game from the break to potting and safety.
They played easy shots that kids can play because their previous positioning shots were perfect, they all link.
