change a pin on cue and insert on shaft

I have this cue http://www.graciocues.com/ItemDetail/1215
but I want to change the pin and insert to the cue, the original shaft and a Z2 that I have, I was told it was a 3/8X10 but I think it might be damaged and it has a little bit of a warp.
So, change the pin on cue and inserts on two shafts, looking for a cue repair. i would prefer 5/16X18.
I want to fit them with a popular thread that can be matched with aftermarket shafts.

this pin does not fit 3/8X10, the original shaft has a cracked ferrule.
truth be told, this pin is fantastic, i just can't match a shaft to it.

its a weird 3/8X10 pin. and the ferrule looks cracked, its ivory. i just spoke w scot at proficient, he says to let him see the pin, maybe just change the Z2.

It's quite possibly an '11' thrd.

no idea if its an 11. the only 11 thread i know is a SW one and it looks way different. and yes I emailed Gracio and he did not respond. and bondo?? wood filler??? no, i don't think so. the flash and close up makes it look like that.

right. go with the flat bottom 3/8-10 pin if you decide t do it anyway
