Charcoal Diamond Professional

I was interested in buying a Diamond table. Talked to Paul at Diamond on the phone yesterday. Super nice guy.

Anyways I was curious about the Charcoal profesionals. But not sure if I will like the looks of it. Can those of you that own one post pictures of it? Thanks in advance.

No pics but I know the diamond tables can be found black as steel in color or the black looking grey,
Don't know exactly why the color come out that way, but I do know the wood is enpregnated with hard resign.

That's not good. I guy talks his wife into putting one in the house and she says as long as it's Black to match whatever and it comes to them in Grey. Johnnyt

Well the charcoal is supposed to be grey. If you want black you get the black. But if you get charcoal it's color will vary from table to table. Depends on how well the wood they use takes in the colored resin. My biggest concern is whether or not I'll like the black under side of the table. At least that's what I took from our conversation. That the rails will be charcoal and underneath is black. I'm not sure I'd like the look of that but I want to see it before I make up my mind.
 
I love mine...the charcoal is the sharpest of the pro-ams IMO

What you asked about was the Professional, what you're describing is the ProAm. The Professional don't have a black under body, all you can see is the leg pedestals, and they are almost never painted black. .

I may be confused then. When I talked with Paul at Diamond he told me that "not everything will be charcoal." Well that's how I understood it. What do those look like? I think I am just confused lol.

It's listed under the Professional. I guess their website is just confusing me lol
 
Of all the diamond finishes, the charcoal is my least favorite.

I like the cocobolo one best, followed by the diamond wood and oak.

Obviously, each person has his own set of decor needs, but from my perspective, all finishes fit with any decor... And the cocobolo is the best look.
 
The charcoal color would be my second choice for sure.
Glen said "almost never painted black" he helped set up mine!

That's great news. If I decided I wanted a charcoal table. Would the legs be the same color as the rails? or would the legs be black. similar to the pro am?
