Here are the latest Classic reproduction cues made by the Adam Cue Company in Japan.

This company was originally founded by David Forman and Richard Helmstetter has once again come back to prominence through the hard work of Jed Forman, Davids son.

Below are four of the current Adam Classic line that are being produced by Adam Cue.

These cues are really really nice production cues. The finish, short splices, inlays, wood and even the shaft wood are great quality and executed to perfection. Even the construction is executed very very well, with no glue lines visible. I suspect that there is nothing better for non-custom.

The current price for these cues are between $375 and $500 retail, on the billiards Warehouse web site.

If I wanted a good cue and was on a budget, that 2nd cue from the left would suit me just fine. Those cues have always been my favorite players.

Thanks for the pics.

They are a bunch of nice looking cues that are classic styled but how do they hit,i had a 20+ year old Helmstetter that was top of the line and it hit ok but was nothing like the 3/8 big pin cues that cuemakers are making now,i would love these cues if they were made with phenolic joints and big pins.:)

You have nice taste Chris because that is the exact cue I have a line on for some cheap dough. That is the AH-10 Ritz model and we have a mutual friend who just received one and said it is one of the better playing cues he has has ever used.
For the price, I just can't pass it up.

He got the one that is second from the right.

Dude, these cues hit very very sweet, they have the classic piloted shafts and they fit nice and tight into the joint.

Like I said above, the finish, the wood, the inlays all are executed very professionally, and the shaft wood, at least on the cues I have is A to A+++ quality, like Chris said above there is no better bang for the buck.

I am sure they hit alot like my older Helmstetter did,the shaft wood was nice and was still perfectly straight after being over 20 years old and the cues leather wrap and finish was still excellent.I just found out that the big pin phenolic jointed cues i have been playing with seem to hit better and i seem to stroke the ball better too.I dont know if i will ever go to a stainless steel jointed cue with a small pin again.

Wow. I looked up Adam Japan and it’s reasonably close to my high school (American Air Force dependents school) outside of Tokyo. That was in 1966-69. Where in the hell did the years go to make me so very old?
I then went to Illinois for my junior year and Frankfurt, Germany my senior year. Loved all of them except Illinois. Maybe because we could drink as young as 8th grade in Japan and Germany. 🤭
