I don't have any idea why the pictures are not working - I will try my best to post them all up to my gallery

Ernesto is kicking at the six and makes a good hit but leaves an easy out. Looks like Mexico's hopes are done with for this event.

Shane is sitting at 8:4 Niels Feijen is running out to 10:4

Jeff DeLuna is breaking at 8:5

Marcus Chamat is getting hammered at 2:9 but his opponent just misses and easy 3 ball and throws the Swede a lifeline.

Sarah Rousey is running out against the hill at 5:8.

Jasmin has pulled ahead for the first time in the match at 7:6 against Jeanette

Daryl Peach looks asa if he only has 1 game but he is still playing so the play must be really slow on that table. Karl Boyes is ahead something to 3.

Sarah got out to go to 6:8 GO HEARTBREAKER!

Chamat didn't get out and it's 2:10 against him.

Jasmin wins 9:6 - Sarah loses 9:6 - America's last hope on the women's side is the Texas Tornado Vivian Villareal!

Shane is up 9:5 and kicking at the 2.

Niels Feijen won his match.

DeLuna cruised to victory. Peach has 3 games now. Karl Boyes has to be near the finish line. I was right he just crossed it to win.

Shane is sitting at 9:6.

Shane's opponent breaks and run out - Shane to break at 9:7.

The organizers do have the matches timed pretty well - all the matches are finishing in under two hours.

Wow - the Japanese guy just broke and ended up hooked on the one and instead of pushing he jumps the one in using a jump cue and holds the cue ball for perfect shape - the KNOWLEDGEABLE crowd of pool players cheers.

On a side note - no one here has noticed or complained about phenolic tips damaging the Aramith balls that are being used.

Shane's opponent is running out again to bring the score to 9:8. I think Shane just like to keep it close to get more table time. :-)

For JAM - USA USA USA!!!!

Peache's match IS SLOW - it's only at 8:4 against Peach. They are going to be here for a while longer.

Shane is looking at a fairly open table with only the position from the 4 to 5 being a little tricky.

Now just thread the needle - no he elects to draw the off angle shot and bumps the six to get position. Then he makes the five and brings the cueball two rails out of the tight corner just missing the six - makes the six and then has to hammer the seven to make teh cueball go two rails down table for the 8 - makes the routine 8 and 9 and stands at the table like he is mad at it. 10:8 Shane

Shane pounds the break - gets a shot on the two but then fails to get shape on the 3 - comes up right at teh 50 yard line and elects to use the bridge to BANK the 3 in! NOw shooting the four in the side he plays a two way and misses the four but gets the cueball safe - but not safe enough as the opponent half masses it to kick-safe - Shane then is hooked and he sells out on the shot.

Very strange - Shane's demeanor looks like he is behind in the match. He will have one more break in this match 10:9 Shane.

Shane has ball in hand after his opponent scratches on the break. Open table looking at four stop shots now.Easy peazy! Shane is in the top 16.

Kelly Fisher vs. someone from China. Kelly takes rack one after playing a great bank shot on the five followed up with a great safety on the 7. In game two Kelly's safe on the two is weak and she leaves the door open for a return safe that sends Kelly to the jump cue - Kelly almost pockets the ball but it bobbles ot and goes up table to give her opponent a shot. The opponent runs out to the 7 but misses leaving Kelly a thin cut that she spins in using the bridge and holds the cueball for shape on the 8 - Kelly brings the cue ball three rails around for shape on the nine which she pockets with authority to cinch it going up 2:0.

Vivian is up 1:0 against Korr.

Jason Klatt is 1:1 against Souquet.

Kelly is looking at an open table to go up 3:0

Darren Appleton is up 1:0

Kelly is up 5:0 and living up to her KwikFire name!

In the same amount of time Karen Korr and Vivian are still at 1:1

Karen makes it 2:1

Jason Klatt leads Souquet 2:1 and is running out.

Appleton is up 2:1

GYK who is looking seriously hot is running out to get on teh board at 3:1 against her.

Klatt gets out to make it 3:1

Kelly has another open shot and no problems - her opponent looks like she swallowed a lemon. 6:0 Kelly - Apparently Kelly has a lunch date. :-)

Kelly breaks and can see the 1 and makes it. The 3/5/8 are tied up. Kelly makes the 2 and tries to break up the cluster buts hits it too thin. She then plays a great soft touch safety that leaves just a whisper of the three. The opponent kicks instead and leaves a decent 3:9 combo which Kelly fires in before the referee can even start the shot clock 7:0 Kelly.

Still 2:1 with Karen and Vivian. Kelly breaks and comes up with the same shot on the one. Everything looks fairly open with only one pocket for the four - Kelly gets in perfect line for it - she is playing faster than I can type - where is Jam when I need her - just like that in 30 seconds it's over. 8:0

This is a beating.

It has switched to winner breaks I see. Kelly makes a ball and is almost frozen to the 1. She thins the one to play a perfect safety forcing the opponent to kick two rails which she does - unfortunately leaving Kelly and open table. And this might over before it began.

As the great Johnny Erovilino once said of another player who shot fast - he can run the table and make the nine before the 7 falls in.

9:0 Kelly Fisher in just about 30 minutes.

Wow. That's gotta feel good. Kelly made NO errors that I saw. That had to be an Accustats 950-1000. If that's not WORLD CLASS then nothing is.
