I installed 2 off these tables today. They were actually pretty nice tables. Went together easy and leveled up nice. The company I did the install for sold them to a retirement community. They sold them for $3200.00 each which included my delivery and setup, Simonis 860 cloth & full accessory kits. They are a hell of a buy at that price. Rafer Billiards in Delaware is the wholesaler.

Pat,
As far as I know Rafers stopped selling them a while ago, I was thinking about picking one up but I didn't think they sold them anymore.

Thanks very much Pat for your post, how were the rails and the slate. Are the rails press wood backed or finger jointed lamination. I suspect that the slate must be the typical Chinese Slate, but how did it looks overall.

Thanks Craig

Hi Craig,
The rails were real nice. I am not sure what you mean about the lamination. It does have chinese slate which I am not a fan of. But both sets leveled up great. It looked awesome. It is alot of table for a good price. My guys played a couple games afterwards and they said the table played great.

Good looking table.
Do you have them setup to break from both ends of the table for a reason? :D

.

Great looking tables; can't tell them apart from a Gold Crown at a glance.
Heck, I've heard rumors that Brunswick is made in China. :)

Sag.

Hey Chris,
I spoke to the dealer I installed the tables for today and he said Rafer is having problems getting them. When I spoke to John I thought they had a bunch in stock. My bad. His son just went to China though, maybe he found a new manufacturer.

If you are referring to the headspot. The elderly gentleman at the center asked for it..is there a reason you needed to know this

I just talked to another importer off knock off gold crown 4's and he was saying they are dead perfedt copies. Every part is interchangable with a real Brunswick Gc4. He also told me they were used at the world games this year over seas. He is supposed to send me picture's of the tables Black matte finish chrome trim. They should retail @ $7,000 he wants to sell by container load only.

Yep, referring to the 2 rack spots.
If the customer asks I suppose that's cool even tho it serves no purpose.
I think some customers see this in different places and then "expect" that's how it should be.
We usually leave a few extra spots so the cust can change it if it gets funky.

I have heard it extends cloth life if you alternate which end you break from.

Therefore, two spots might suit someone who does this.

I always use one ,but alot of people tell me there is supposed to be 2 because that's how so and so's table is so I dont argue and I double spot it. I guess it would extend the life by alternating from time to time .

Nice job on the tables pooltable911!

Thank you...I hear the same thing about 2 spots. Some people insist on the headspot. Mostly people who have no idea what a foot spot or a head spot is.

Maybe but it's probably more of a pita on a central ball return table.
Double spots are just a peeve here.

Still, good looking tables despite the spots.

Hey Pat, how do you think these tables will hold up in time. 10 or 20 years?
Donny,
The legs, frame and stretcher are very similiar to the GC IV. The rails seemed good. I don't know about the rubber. I think these tables will hold up fine. Might need the cushions replaced but other than that I can't find much faults in them. Real nice table for the money.
