It arrived and its beautiful Chris! Thanks you I'm glad I decided on you. You are one -in a -million. Regards, Al

Congrats

Chris will stand behind that lathe, with advise and support ......You chose wisely......Now go out and get a boat load of wood, and then wait a year to cut into it.......Best of luck...Your on your way.......Be safe.........Ray Weeks

I am glad the lathe is what you expected. As mentioned above you need some wood. But if you are like myself and hate to wait forever to build some cues check out our Jump Start wood that is already partially turned.

No need to post requested pictures. It is the standard Deluxe package #2 with a few extras that Al got. Pictures are on the cuesmith.com site showing the general set up.

Hi Chris how do you change the belt? Need the motor be loosened?
I have some wood....

Don't worry about the belt.......... mine is 2 years old and I have built 45 cues on it............

LOL

I've had Mine about 8-10 years or so, and although I bought a spare belt just in case, I never had to change It.

Hi Chris how do you change the belt? Need the motor be loosened?
I have some wood....

All the deluxe Hightowers I have had the motor sat on a hinged front that by lifting the back up it gave plenty of room to change the area the belt was in. On the ones I owned where the Motor was attached to the Headstock there was a knob to adjust speed and to chage the belt some allen screws needed to be loosened to create the hinge to tilt the motor to replace the belt.

I've had mine...uh...almost two years. I'm not sure why, but I had to replace mine. Small price to pay for the fun.

Thanks for the congrats

Thanks for the congrats...hope you realize that I wasjust joking about you being Chris' partner.
