Chris Nitti shows strong at the ICCS

I did ask a question, because of an observation. I don't know how you can expect any clearer or up close pictures. It looks extrememly clear on my screen. Yet everyone wants to hop right up on their soap box and start to preach. If you don't know that being in this business, or any business or hobby where you are demonstrating quality workmanship, it will be judged by others, and rightfully so. If it is just a glare off of rings then that explains it. Which is why I was surprised to see what I was seeing and asked for an explanation. But like any other subject on this forum there are always 15 people that want to cry foul about simple things. I even said in the original post that it appears to be much higher quality than a cue I would expect to see poor workmanship!

Simple questions need simple answers, not 15 people getting on the bandwagon to try to persecute me for asking a question. Ridiculous.. I've been building cues and restoring classic cars for 25 years, I expect people to judge my work, ask questions about what they consider a flaw, if they don't then they're probably not experienced in what they're looking at.

You guys create your own drama...

Well... that certainly is an interesting perspective...

Chris has been judged...thoughtfully by experts and deemed worthy of the distinction ICCS Displaying Cuemaker. This is not some rent-a-table and show your wares event but rather, the highest form of custom cue display anywhere. Chris has demonstrated world class distinction and he showed impressive cues this year.

Regrets about the image quality. I own this thread in a manner of speaking as its originator and should have replied sooner. The observation and question were inocuous in my opinion and Mr. Nitti's work speaks for itself. I looked closely at the cue, studied it for flaws and found none. The work is tight...the pictures are not.

Any way you can show us some of your work? I never heard of you before and would love to see what you got. But not here please, start your own thread.

Thank you.

completely ridiculous

This is EXACTLY why so many quality cue builders around this country don't come on here at all. John Doe (GREAT NAME) leaves negative feedback for me making a comment. That's chicken s*#@ to say the least. Go ahead, I couldn't care less if it's another 5 years before I come back on here. This isn't a community, it's a bunch of whinny, wannabe collectors and a few cue makers that don't care about all your whining, and need to put up with it to sell a cue once in a while. Ridiculous

Hello pot... it's the kettle calling...

If you don't to be a part of this community, then stand by your decision.

Good luck getting business as well as getting along with your fellow "cue makers who need to put up with us whiny AZbilliards members in order to sell a cue," I wish you the best.

Very very cool. Glad I could help in some way.

I have only had 2 Nitti cues,I loved them both
when one arrived I was playing pool with Bob Owen,no mean cue maker and a bit of a player as well,
he asked if he could play with my new cue

After a few games of one pocket,he said "I could play with that!"

he complimented the work

I believe the gallery would be a better place without criticism of workmen or their work.

When it gets to Chris Nitti,I like him and his work,I love the play,it reminded me of a James
White I had, this is a compliment to two great cue makers

Oh yes,I love the box cue,I think you let one get away and you
will live to regret it
