Hey tattoo, I've owned several of Chucks wood pinned cues. The hit is awesome. You will not find anything close. In trying to describe the hit, the word that comes to mind is quiet, with no vibration AT ALL. Pardon my unsolicited opinion. Oh, you'll be hard pressed to find an easier guy to deal with. One cue he sent me, he sent me 20 bucks to ship it back if I didn't like the hit. I've still got that 20 in my cue case for good luck and "just in case".
