at a distance this bocote cue looks like one solid piece, but a bit closer you can see the 1 mm thick maple veneers.
should be done end of nov.
weight will be 19 to 19 3/4 using no weight bolts.
i'm planning wood pin, plain black joint rings, old brunswick high ring count shaft, moori with no ferrule. maybe elk joint.

WOW! Sold already. Chuck's cues are great... really great. Top class finish, no bolts, no frills.. less-is-better styling, reasonable prices and a fantastic hit that rivals ANY cue. I've got 6 of them now so I speak with confidence from experience. And then there's Chuck himself... one of the best people to deal with that you can possibly imagine. I'm sold on the guy and his cues.

this is a really old piece of bocote, so i do not anticipate it moving at any time, so no core.
