Cities with the most serious pool rooms?

A Must Stop

Beloit, WI has a great room with some amazing tourneys and what always seemed to be nonstop action. They play everything up there except one pocket, lol. If you wanna gamble, you can find $2 a game 8 ball to $500 a set 9 ball. Big tourneys and big payouts, but the best part is how good the people up there are. Its a great great room, and I miss going there quite a bit.

I am going to have to throw a little rep up that way. Dave Coles,Sr. and Jr. have a long tradition of being a Player's Room. I used to drop in back in the early 90's when I was in Janesville. You could walk in the front door and see a young Larry Nevel and Mr. Jeff Carter playing Golf on the snooker table. Many a road player has been through there. Top Notch Competition and Top Rated Hospitality.

Imagine being able to rotate through there and Romine's and CueNique, and Top Shots, and just for good measure drop in on my Old Pal Dallas West and his Son Noah down in Rockford!!! Great Pool Playing Area.

Maybe someone will pull together a list of the top rooms in each MSA, based on this thread.

Unfortunately, Dallas closed his room down a couple years ago. It was a sweet room though. It looked like it should have been packed all the time, but it wasn't. Dallas was super nice to me when I met him too.

At "Hanks" we are very serious about the bottled water.
And our metro Denver population is around 2 million or so.

Not only did you "not stop reading"..but you took the time out to list your complaints and write a comment. I love how the guys that act so above it all are the ones with all the time to *****..why don't you get off the computer you little cyber warrior and go find a pool room that fulfills all your needs..and stop telling us how you stopped reading.

If you look at the title it says serious pool rooms. I didn't know celebs had anything to do with that. Is that why you got your nickers in a twist?
Don't worry no one is trying to pick on you, you'll get over it. Go watch your celebs you'll forget all about it!

If no one mentioned Fargo Billiards & Gastropub in Fargo, ND, they should have. This is a SERIOUS poolroom. Should be duplicated around the country.
