CJ Playes the Ghost In Rotation.

Anybody notice CJ dropping his elbow? He cant be worth a hoot with that elbow drop. He better go see those instructors that tell you that you wont ever amount to anything if you dont pin that elbow, keep it quiet.

Mike

this is what I can give "short stops" the 5/7 and the breakwww.cjwiley.com

Haha...you must have been out of the game along time or your definition of a shortstop is way off. Most shortstops I know would get up there and break you. I think there are quite a few "A" players that would play this way as well.

Either way good videos and I am glad to see you posting.

I here you.

Facetious sarcasim. Just to avoid confusion.

Running a 15 ball rack of rotation is pretty strong IMO
Not to mention 29 balls in one hole
<~~~~ thinks he's still got it

I'm So GLAD you made THIS POINT, Now I can Get some Action Every Day.

I think his point was more addressing the definition of world class. If you consider a world class player to be one of the top 10 in the world, CJ might have been considered that at one point in time, but would have been borderline if considered at all and certainly would not be included in that list today. If your definition of world class extends to the the top 100, he would have certainly been considered world class at one point, and might still be if he lives up to recent hype, but its yet to be proven.

Man, I appreciate you saying that...now I can get a lot of action, I'm sure the line will be long to play me.

Maybe someone can start a post of exactly who these "100 players" that will play me are. I promise I will start at the bottom and play every single one of them. This isn't "woofing" this said with joy. Getting action isn't exactly as easy as you indicate.

As a matter of fact besides the top 5 in the country I'm not sure who else will actually play some 1000. sets. I say this because I don't want to "high roll" anyone, then you'll say that's the reason they won't play. Let me be loud and clear,

I'll play anywhere from $20 a game to $200 a game and put up 10 games (at least). The line's open, just not Shane, I had to play him last time I went to DCC and it messed my action for two years. I learned my lesson, anyone else is welcome, let's get a list of 20 out of the 100 and I may play them all with in a week or two.

We can set up appointments like the old days. This is fair isn't it? I would really enjoy playing someone every day and if there's really 20 in this country that will play me, then I'm ready to start in a week. Someone round them up and "let's play pool fast eddie".

I am borrowing this list from Celtic on the other thread. CJ, in 10 ball who on this list would you like to match up with for the moolah? Maybe John Mars will see this and put them in the box with you. I think JBs response on each player was a bit off on some of them, but respect his opinion. Some of these guys don't gamble for sure, just wondering for conversational purposes what you think.

I offered to play the 20 of the top 30 in the USA

I don't think it's affordable for people to fly in from Asia and Europe to play, I offered to play the 20 of the best in the USA, that's more realistic. Let's talk in terms of really doing this starting in a week, not some "pie in the sky" of playing the worlds elite players.

I will do that if it's televised, however, without TV it's not affordable to put this presentation together. It's a lot of work to do something like this and I presume it will be me doing the work.

Play Well,

CJ

, is Scott considered a "short stop" or an "A" Player?

You may be right, I haven't played anyone since Scott Frost in Las Vegas.

Just curious, is Scott considered a "short stop" or an "A" Player?

Not calling anyone out..yet.

My advice is that you guys continue to play nice because I'm past the point of tired where the badgering CJ comes in.

Is it becoming more clear on how easy pool can be using the Touch of Inside, and how I play the ZONES? I'm basically playing all the shots like they're straight in and playing the same hit on the cue ball and same stoke on every shot (if possible). This is how to develop a high level of consistency, there's other ways, this one is just the easiest to develop.

The conventional way is what's extremely difficult - trying to hit a contact point or "ghost ball" with different spins and speeds would be a nightmare for me to do. More than anything it wouldn't be any fun.

The TOI is enjoyable, especially when your opponent is the one playing the "traditional method", this is what I can give "short stops" the 5/7 and the break or 3 balls playing one pocket. It's not because I'm "better," it's because I'm simply playing a different Game...one that's much more effective.

I understand you giving people the 5 and 7 just because you wont give them opportunity but also the break.
Whats your definition of a short stop?
Bar box also?

Most people don't know this but most of the time the break is a disadvantage
When me and my road buddy go out gambling we often give up the break
As long as we're not using the magic rack
Hope none of them read this lol

CJ,
I appreciate all your posts and videos and enjoy your participation in all of the threads. If your going to put a quote of me, please put the part where you said that you would give shortstops the BREAKS and the 5/7. Thats my whole point. That has nothing to do with how you play but how I view shortstops as well as some of the top "A" players around.

I'm going to keep my eye on this thread. CJ Wiley wants to take on all comers? Top 20 in the US...I admire him for standing up for his skill when someone calls him out. I know that he isn't doing it because someone called him out, there is a deeper reason why CJ wants to play the top players. I see it moreso as a bucket list.

Sounds like a bonafide challenge to me, lots more than woofing. Have fun CJ, let's see who mans up here.

He's not THAT old!!;)

It's good shooting, but an amateur on here posted two videos doing the same thing and the mods decided to remove the whole thread. Not only pros can do that. It's much more common than you think it is.

I wonder why? It was good shooting!
