I would appreciate that....are you near Dallas much?
Depends on what I've got going on at the time. I'm currently working on Diamond's new one pocket 9ft ProAm, getting ready to introduce it to the public.

It was going to be part of my new DVD, which is coming out in October, but to do this one special I could have it up in a week or two....just depends on what I think the demand might be....I'll play it by ear

I've seen top players fall out of their stances, and immediately their ball-pocketing suffers. I've watched them turn to aiming systems and other things to try to get back their ball pocketing skills, but eventually, those systems fail them because it wasn't the cause of their problem in the first place.
Start with your stance.
Fran, this is probably one of the best posts I've read.

CJ I suspect some players dont know how to get into a correct stance so that their shooting arm naturally comes down inline.
So, I'm all in on the alignment and aiming instruction.
Thanks

Yes, but it's more a 3 in 1 9ft ProAm with different rails available that can be switched in out in about 10 minutes. Here's the table in the billiard version.

That's really cool, you mean you can have a 3 Cushion Table, a 2 pocketed one pocket table AND a regular table and it's only a 10 minute conversion? I have to admit that's impressive.... I may have to get one of those one day.
In MY game of one pocket....points are acquired based on the shot made, not by the ball countStraight in is only worth 1 point, one rail banks are worth 2 points, multi rail banks are worth the total number of banks plus 1 point bonus for banking....meaning a 3 rail bank is worth 4 points. Fouls are -1 point, 3 consecutive fouls is -15 points. Call safe, shoot a ball in your opponents corner, ball spots up and you pay a foul of -1 point. All games are played to 50, 75, or 100 points. After the first break, all re-racks are done after 14 balls have been pocketed, leaving the cue ball and the 15th ball where they lay, unless they are in the way of racking, in which case, 14-1 racking rules would apply

PS, the game is played with 15 yellow object balls, and a red circle cue ball.
Well, if you look at it from my point of view, my reasons are to cross breed straight rail billiards and pocket pool into a more common game that can be played by all, joining the masses. . . into playing against each other in Asian, Hispanic, Korean, or American pool rooms, without a language barrier, because it's played by the same rules everywhere

As far as the table design is concerned, could the rails be designed like an "[" or a "]"? So you have only 1 rail with 2 different set of cushions on each. This way you don't have to store the extra set.
That would be too cool.
Personally, I would like 1 set with really tight pockets (4") and the flip side would be (4.5").
Sounds good up to the part about 15 yellows. That's no good. Don't you want contrasting colors and stripes to make aiming and seeing edges easier?
Just my two cents..but I like the concept...
