NO Tommy Kennedy no vote from me~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Tommy Kennedy is great also, I wish I would have had more options, but it only let me put 10. We had 30 living players mentioned in the other thread, so 20 got left out.

Tommy Kennedy is great guy though. I met him at the Texas Open in 1994 (I think). He signed the Pool and Billiard with him on the cover winning the US Open. He had just lost the finals to CJ Wiley. He was happy to talk, cordial and an all around fun guy to talk to.

Sorry again.

Jim

Wow, some tough choices there. I'd usually knee-jerk vote for Ms. Fisher, but let's face it, us English really don't need anyone else to TELL us we have class ;-)

In the end I went with Nick Varner, because in my limited experience with these players I've personally seen him do something I thought was very classy - At the 2003 Mosconi Cup in Vegas I was waiting outside with Jim "Too Tall" Eales, who teaches at Purdue. We were chatting to the table mechanic and he mentioned he knew that Mr. Varner had gone to Purdue. I guess when he went inside again he told Mr. Varner about this and then next thing we knew he come out and chat with Jim and me for a few minutes.

Given that he was the Captain that year and doubtlessly had a lot of other things to deal with before the tournament play began I thought this showed a lot of class to make the effort for a few fans he didn't know.
