Cleaning simonis 860?

Whatsthe best way to clean the cloth and keep it clean. When I had it installed the person told me to take a dustbuster to it once a month and to keep it brushed. I do that but after about 3 months it feels dirty and it doesnt seem like the dustbuster trick is working. Can anybody suggest something to clean the cloth with? I was thinking about the cleaner in the can but I diddn't know if that was a waste of money. Thanks in advance

I mix it up. I'll use Quick Clean one day, warm water on a micro-fiber towel another day. I'll vac once every couple weeks or less and I don't brush at all. Works for me and has for years.

What's the theory with not brushing Jim? Does it damage the fibers?

and btw: Does anyone ever iron their napless cloths? Nap cloths are ironed before every match for those who don't know.

I've just been brushing my napless table. oops!

You need more power then a dustbuster but not overly powerful.
Vacuuming gets the chalk dust out of the cloth.
The damp microfiber wipedown cleans up marks on the cloth.
Finish with a brushing from head to foot.
Cost = $0
