Guys,
I just had a cap set made for a customer and the Polyurethane didn't stick to the RoseWood. It dried in the Linen fiber Collars and Alter. Ivory, but, stayed tacky on the rosewood surfaces. Too much oil in that wood?
Can I smear some super glue and sand back lightly to "seal the wood" and then spray the Poly Clear over?

How do you CueMaker's do it with these kinds of woods?

For Caps / Joint protectors I would use Super Glue, it will stick to any wood with no issues. If you do not know how to apply it, search the archive for the information. I completely outlined how to apply it a few months ago.

Hope this helps!!!!!

They will look nice, when you get the finish to stick. I also use Super glue. Have no problems with it sticking. Jim
