Simonis is the best .... Andy cloth is a good second. i covered my table with Andy cloth and i like it.
Simonis 860 is fast and probably the most common cloth in quality commercial pool rooms.
Simonis 860 HR is a just a bit faster and probably the most common cloth in quality home pool rooms.
Simonis 760 is crazy fast and almost never used on pool tables in commercial or home rooms except if the primary game is straight pool. Most are of the opinion that it is too fast for other games but the option is there if you want really abnormally fast.
I would guess that properly stretched Simonis 860 HR is going to be the right cloth for you and most others that prefer pretty fast but don't want to get into the realm of something completely unrealistic from what would be encountered at most quality pool halls.

760 in the hands of someone who is actually good at applying it . I believe it rolls true as the shot slows & it’s as fast as any cloth ought to be
Currently have 860 hr & not particularly happy with the wear .
One would think a thinner cloth applied over slate would roll faster? ( I believe it does based on personal experience)
860 HR is heavy but doesn’t really roll slow but really needs a very good install !

Played on the Granito equivalent of 760. Ditto.
If you want super fast, use a bed sheet. You'll need a more elaborate method of tacking it down but you could go through more sheets than pool cloth. The downside is leveling the table might be impossible.

At my poolrooms we been using Simonis in all shapes and colors since we open our doors (1963/1988), but we made a change to that after Royal Pro started to make cloth for pocket billiard tables.
Its easy to clean, and its fast and it stays fast all time until we put new cloth on the tables, not like new cloth fast but much much better than any Simonis in the long run, no players in our rooms wanna go back to Simonis.
Royal Pro cloth has been made solely for Carom, but after lots of testing at the factory and in poolrooms now also for pool tables.
If you put spinn on a ball, play it 3 or 4 cushions, Simonis cloth makes the ball to start rolling after 2 cushions but Royal pro let it spinn like it is suppose to do.
At our poolrooms we change cloth 2 times per year after our cloth brand change, and its still cheaper than Simonis, so the cost for a table of Royal Pro cloth vs Simonis………is a huge difference.

I'm on my second Simonis 860. I can't see why I would ever change.
