I just checked and Air New Zealand offers SFO-Sydney flights for $1350 including checked+carry-on+meals+seat selection. Sydney to Adelaide is probably a short cab ride -- how big could the place be?

ive spent a lot time there and Adelaide is not a fun town. kangaroo island nearby is best. but after the fires i dont know its state of tourism and what animals are left. i know it got devastated.

but the country has so many wonderful things that if you do go make sure to take at least a few extra weeks and travel around.
much of it is like going back in time in the u.s.
