Some of the biggest money games (five figure bets in $) in the Philippines have been vs. Aussie players. The best Aussie players have little interest in tournaments. There is too much money to be made elsewhere. Kind of like the old days in the USA.

Yep, I know several who have made that trip.

Locally here as well, there are big money games going on..
Dwarfs the tournament money here.
