I've heard of several instances where makers refused to build a cue for a customer. Maybe the design or wood combination was just horrible and won't work (due to weight, odd construction, etc.), maybe the customer wanted you to incorporate an inferior point blank or material/wood, maybe the maker just didn't want something that ugly getting out on the street with their name on it.
Does anyone have any humorous stories about these kind of situations they would be willing to share (withholding names, of course....can be hypothetical even).
Aside from possibly being humorous, this kind of thread can also be educational for readers/potential customers thinking of having a unusual cue built.
