Cocobolo Type

Maybe you have to tell your cuemaker the kind of Cocobolo you want..
Some cue enthusiast don't know, That, there's different types of Cocobolo..
The really dark ones, the nice brown figured ones, and, I think the Mexican one, that has yellowish or orangish color..
I find that that the purples appear when freshly cut, but, fades away with time.. even the intense Orangish tinge darken..
Anyway, consider the species too,and specify to your cuemaker..
You might not get the color/shade of Cocobolo that you wanted, and,
it will not be the same look you imagined with your veneer color choice..
I think the top, 1st photo has the orangeish Colobolo, the middle photos show the nice color one,
and, the SW has the dark Cocobolo..
They are usually identified by their country of orgin.. I would use the scientific names, to be specific to the cuemaker.
