Colorado pool rooms open when?

That’s great news.

What’s the curve looking like there?

Colorado
19,375 cases
967 deaths

May 8: Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Pitkin and Jefferson Counties moved from stay-at-home orders to “safer-at-home” orders which allow for some businesses to reopen and some activities to resume under social distancing rules

I think we are on the down side.
But with some businesses opening who knows.

Be patient.

Sounds like you guys are near when everything opens.

We’re in phase 2 in California and things are starting to open and you have less cases.

A friend of mine from the pool room has invited me to his house.
I have never been there but was told he has an older Crown that has been restored to like new condition.
I am going this Saturday.
I did offer him free (of course) pool lessons.
Should I take something?

House should be ok. Bring a mask and if he says don’t need to wear then you’re good. Bring to be respectful.

It's confusing here for me in Colorado.
It seems restaurants and bars (?) can open at reduced capacity tomorrow.
But if they have pool tables they can't open.
Not sure I'm getting this right.

Looks like the governor is having a news conference at 1:30 PM MDT. The article said that bars would not open and would be evaluated in June.

It certainly looks like an excellent pool room!

Let us know if it opens. I think that the issue is related to social distancing requirements. If they do open and allow for playing pool, there will have to be a number of tables closed off. Too bad.

Here's what I found.
Looks like the couple local rooms are not going to open anytime soon.
I dont think they can survive a longer lock down.

The proposed rules that have been put forward by the Colorado Department of Public Health as to the opening up of Restaurants and Bars state that games such as Billiards, Darts, Shuffleboard, Dance-floors or any game where people 'stand around and gather' must be removed or closed.

Fountain Corner Pocket is open

That's just south of Colorado Springs. Groups of no more than 10, reservations, 50 max occupancy.

For all the GrubHub and DoorDash Felt used to do, they are only opening their kitchen for take-out on the weekends.

Sure hope they can hang in there. Polis isn't looking to good for a second term when the time comes.

This whole situation is going to affect a lot of politicians.
Deny me pool and you lost my vote.
Let the people decide to socialize or not.
